I can't believe this video. SO you didn't put oil in the pot, you didn't preheat the pot. Yeah, that manual is wrong. Follow the instructions in the box of the cake.

I think if you had covered the cake "pan" with foil, it might have made a difference and not have to sit the extra 30 minutes.
