Easy to use, clean and I just love it!>>>ur2.pl/1035 I was afraid of pressure cookers and scared to get burnt or have the thing blow up. I read the instructions, it was simple to use and now I am pressure cooking! I use it to cook beans and the pressure cooker infuses the flavors and my beans are soooo tasty!!!

She is out of her mind … cooking a cheap beef roast for 2 hours in a pressure cooker. I use several pressure cookers often during the month. A beef roast needs no more than an hour, release pressure under cold water, then add your veg (potato, carrot, parsnip, turnip, what ever you wish) then cook an additional 15 minutes maximum. Best flavor is gained by adding low sodium beef broth … canned or home made in place of water. Seeing her finished product "sliced" … she is not being truthful … after 2 hours the beef and veg would be falling apart. So much for amateurs on you tube.

I had a chuck roast and covered in Montreal spice, seared, removed, sauted onions then garlic, added meat back in, topped with onions then small potatoes (no celery or carrots in the house).  Added one cup of coke and one cup of beef broth.  Cooked for 1 hour in stove top pressure cooker.  IT WAS DELISH AND TENDER and made the best gravey.  Thanks for sharing.

Ok, I've got to beg the question. What do the prunes do for the roast, sounds like a really odd thing to put in there? Really glad to see somene through some pressure cooker recipies out there on youtube. I'd really like to learn to use mine better. Thanks.

When the pressure comes down, I'll be testing the turkey with a meat thermometer, to see if it's really done. It smells FANTASTIC!

Woohoo! Turkey's done. Thanks pastryparrot1 for the inspiration!

I have made this recipe many times. Today, I have adapted it to poaching a whole turkey (it's nearly Thanksgiving here, in the great white north). So far, I've stuffed the turkey with a very large, peeled onion (quartered), a whole lemon (quartered), a few past-their-prime pieces of celery, and topped the whole thing off with salt and pepper. I then added a bottle of home-made apple sherry and a couple of cups of water. Put on the 15 lbs weight, it's been 1 1/2 hours. …

My pressure cooker cookbook (wow, try saying that three times fast) has several recipes, but all for roasts 1/2 the size of the one I had. Thankfully, I tried searching on youtube, and what do ya know, but your vid starred a roast the same size (well, give or take) as the one on my counter. THE BEST. Keep the vids coming.
