Mary I love watching you! I have a question though. I usually get a 2 1/2 lb. turkey breast. I sear it, cook it on high for 6 minutes per pound and use a natural release for 10 minutes. It turns out perfect every time. My question is since your turkey breast was so much larger, is that the reason you use 8 minutes a pound? I see so many different times for recipes, I am beginning to wonder if cook time per pound increases with larger pieces of meat. TIA and Hugs!

Hi Mary if you put stuffing in the breast do you add the weight of the stuffing + bird to the cooking time, I'm assuming you do but I just wanted to check. I'm a regular visitor to your channel and appreciate all your hints, tip and advice best wishes for the festive season and the new year Carol from Scotland xx

Hi Mary.. question for you regarding making a second or third batch of beef bone broth with the same bones… my question is … do you keave the bits of meat still attached to the bones or do you remove them for other uses… obvioysly the bits of mest are very soft and tender and fall 'apartish' … thank you so much in advance 😁

Looks delicious. Since we're only a family of 3 and the other two get bored of foods easily turkey breast would be the way to go. Our internet signal is stronger but for some reason it's overall slower. I can still watch videos on here with some buffering. I can also still check messages on here, my email, and classdojo. However I cannot access my Facebook timeline or messages unless I'm on my handheld gaming system but that screen is so small. It will time out on my laptop and tablet. Seems our modem needs replaced and we plan to get one specialized for WiFi for Christmas this year. Daniel vomited Tuesday night at a sleepover and again Wednesday morning at home. We took him to the doctor and he wasn't allowed to go back to school until today. On the 22nd he's going to be under anesthesia to get an x-ray of his teeth (in their office they tried a technique that apparently worked on every difficult patient but him) and while they are at it fix any issues (he does have a tooth growing behind another one which might be a result of the cleft lip surgery he had done at 6 months old). Hopefully they can do his immunizations at the same time. Even five adults holding him down isn't enough to get him still enough. We worried the needle tip would break in his skin. He's doing well in the fifth grade so far. He got an S in Phys Ed (he's always been good at gross motor skills) and A's in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Health. Lee and Daniel are at a sleepover again. I'm loving it since I have the most energy during my alone time since I'm an introvert. Everyone except for my sister drains my energy. Even Lee and Daniel are energy vampires to me.

Mary, I love your videos! I'm so excited to make a turkey (and the whole chicken ) in the instant pot. Your bone broth is fabulously delcious, and a great way to repurpose our sad veggies and leftover bones.

I love it when you research a topic and then share with us 🙂 I will definitely try this in the near future. I cook my husband's chicken wings in the IP. They too are rubbed with a spice mix. I use the stock that this makes as a base for my mexican-style soups 🙂

I was watching Alton Brown last week…..He explained to NEVER rely on any pop-up thermometer in turkeys. Then, said, NEVER pull out the pop-up device, because the hole it leaves is where ALL the good juice will leave the turkey while cooking, & afterwards, too. 👍♥️🇺🇸

In my house we need extra dark meat. Everybody's squabbling over the thighs and legs! I always cook up extra in my slow cooker then I use the stock for gravy. I have a little off the subject question. Can I use the left over rotisserie chicken bones to make bone broth?

I swear I could almost smell the aroma of that turkey breast when you took the lid off. Got a birthday coming up soon, and I must find a way to get my husband to get me that 8 qt. Instant Pot. I'm daydreaming about the bone broth that cooker will make. Thank you so much for sharing your videos with us. I would give you 100 "likes" if I could.

I’m a try it with my turkey roast. It’s not a breast, but it’s a big hunk of breast in the shape of a roast. And it’s much smaller, so I’m a do the 8 minutes per pound as you stated and 2 cups of water and see how it comes out. I got a 4 qt Cooks Essentials pressure cooker and I’ll be cooking my turkey roast in that thanks to your wonderful video demonstration!
