    Hi HCH, re your knife skills: Please learn to curl your fingers under! I always cringe watching you cut veggies bc I'm terrified you're gonna cut off your fingertips! I know this is out-dated but i recently found you and really enjoy your videos (except for the chopping parts ;o)

    Hannah if you scoop the froth off the surface it helps digestion and prevents you from getting gas. The froth comes from the split peas. Same deal with cooking any dried beans or peas. Soaking them for 6 hours really helps to make them digestible and less gassy!

    As a past chef, that is not the way to professionally cut an onion. You have most of it right. The last step is knife safety. Curve your fingers so you don't cut off the end of your fingers 🙂 You are FAB!!
