I made carnitas the other day and used the leftover liquid to make rice. It had so much flavor!!! I just took the meat out and then poured however much liquid I needed for my rice. So easy and a great way to not let that yummy liquid go to waste.

Hi Kim, one saying about a cardinal showing up is that someone that has passed away is stopping by to say hi or check up on you. Maybe they were saying thank you for being so nice to their relatives. It was sweet of you. I live in Ohio and one has been stopping by every year all year long off and on for the past 8 years since my Mom passed. Sometimes its a male and female that come and I think maybe it is both my parents. My Dad passed in 2000. Sending hugs, take care!

I enjoy cooking videos so much especially when the food is seasoned and marinated so well. My husband wouldn’t touch a single thing that you have made so I very seldom make anything that I really like.
