Because everything is better with cheese on it. This is almost the exact same recipe for dog food, that I feed my dogs. I never touch or dice raw chicken, I always boil it first, then chop it, that's just me.

I picked up a free-at-the-curb Instant Pot and I love it. I would buy one new with what I know now. For cooking rice, tho, I like to cook the rice in a bowl on a steaming rack over water in the instant pot. 12 min for brown rice and then let it sit closed for 12 min. Then I would take the rice out and then do the other stuff and put it all together as I wish. I don't do canned mushroom soup as I have allergies to that thing. Maybe kale "rissotto" with brown rice and bulk pork sausage (nitrate free)

Next time you have fresh Broccoli, slice the stem in thin pieces about a nickel thickness. Saute them in a little butter until soft..season as you like. They taste like artichokes! I like it better than the florets.

Bob,,how are you powering the Insta pot. I think when I checked with my Bluetti that the pot hogs a whole lot of power,,really love my insta pot and I cook out of it a few times a week

It's great to see more of your videos again. I've been watching you for about 4 years, I've always told my self if I ever meet you in a campsite I'd like to talk to you about the Earth Quake in Alaska. I think we were both in Alaska then.
I'm fixing up a 92 Roadtrek and hope to be on the road this winter. Thank You for all I've learned from you. AL

Switch out coconut milk for liquid, add s&b curry paste and you have coconut curry. And less sodium. You can also use firm tofu. Or pork. I clean out vegies in my refrigerator.

I would definitely do it that way but I haven’t ate a six and a 3 quart Insta pot they get that was gifted them so I’ve got one of each and I agree with you. A lot of vegetables aren’t very good but I do like the broccoli and the peas and carrots so that would’ve been a good thing in the brown rice is really delicious to thank you for sharing.

haha sorry Bob, but your definition of "healthy" is like how someone defaulting on mortgage payments defines themselves as a "homeowner"… Maybe you meant cooking "whole" foods. "Healthy" and "whole" are two different things πŸ™‚ The instapot is awesome, but watch out for that deadly amount of processed cheese…

I love making spaghetti in mine, so easy, fast, and one pan. My favorite dishes to cook came from Flo Lum, youtube channel. Yummy and quick, too.

I have a three quart in my office that I love. In a pinch, I can throw in a cup of rice, a good amount of dehydrated vegetable soup, some bullion and either butter or oil and water and seasoning. Hit the rice button for 13 minutes and let it release naturally. I get a nice bit of rice and veggie.

A dish with only half poi son is still a poi son dish. Meat, dairy, ref oils, salt and processed foods are disastrous for the human animal.
If someone said you could possibly have another healthy, happy 25yrs of adventures after age 60, by going Vegan/plant based, would you take it?
Loving animals means ALL animals, not just domestic pets. Only then are you being truly spiritual and enlightened, imo.

Bob, sounds tasty and I thought of a campy title of this new series- "Homestyle cooking with the King of Half@ss, and other digestible ideas for RV life"….
His self deprecating label, not mine. I truly luv Bob. Keep up the new vlog ideas!

Eating life in the van is a totally different world. I mainly resort to frozen food and a microwave. It’s just so small in there and I like to keep things clean. It’s not very healthy, but you’re definitely right.

Chicken… 97% fat free. Skinless, boneless….TASTELESS. People are so afraid of fat these days, but they continue to drown themselves in carbs (carbohydrates, starches, grains) and wonder why they can't lose weight LOL

I make a very similar recipe on the stovetop but with brown rice and wild rice. I have used turkey as well and even sausage to change it up. Always delicious.

Thank you for demonstrating this delicious looking recipe πŸ™‚ Looks like a great filling for Chicken Pot Pie too, maybe without the rice or replaced with potatoes. Don't want to down your cooking methods, but feel moved to share with you some info, as you mentioned your effort for making healthy meals. Using microwaves radiates food and removes all nutrition from the food so you cannot benefit from it. Microwaves are dangerous to our health and I suggest getting rid of them. They are also a big power drain so Toaster Ovens are a much better choice. All my best ❀
