99% of the time I watch these knowing damn well I would never get the ingredients together to try a recipe or attempt to even cook but um I AM ACTUALLY GOING TO TRY THESE. These looked so amazing and I just have to find out.
So you wash starch off the potatoes, and then you add six tablespoons of starch back in? That rinse of the chopped potatoes is looking really pointless.
Hi Emmy! Do you think you can do an episode around roasted or fried radishes? They are being used as a potato replacement in a lot of low carb diets and I think that would make an interesting video! Love your videos!
You can use your vegetable scraps to make stock before you compost them! I keep mine in a gallon bag in the freezer until it's full (usually just under a week), then boil in a large pot until they're pretty mushy. Strain them out, then compost. To avoid getting too much stock, boil it after the straining and make a stick concentrate. You can even keep the stock in the freezer and keep making it stronger and stronger.
"Rinse them with water to remove the extra starch." "Now, put them in a bowl and stir in some extra starch." I'm sure there's some kind of reason for this, some difference between potato and corn starches, but I found it slightly perplexing, as well as humorous.
I don't compost, since I don't have much of a yard to use it in, but I do throw a lot of my critter-friendly food scraps (fruit peels, veggie tops/stems, bread crumbs, etc.) to the birds and squirrels.
You are a genius, I have never seen anyone get this right! I didn’t know why they got it wrong, it’s the potato mix and the chop instead of grated, I hope Joshua Weisman and all others see this
Are you serious?? Earlier today, I got McDonald’s for breakfast, and was literally mentioning to a co-worker that cheesy hash browns would be an awesome idea. Then I come across this just now. What sorcery are you on, Emmy? 🤣😋
To avoid compost smell, do not use any animal products, use a combination of brown (leaves) and green (kitchen wastes and grass), and turn once in a while. Do not soak the compost.
I'm so loving ❤ 💗 💕 💖 💓 ♥ hash brown!
Ok, I was sooo unimpressed with this recipe…. UNTIL you added cheese. Now, I think you're a genius! Bravo!!!! ☺
This is going under the saved videos so I can try it!!!
Hello love the recipe btw, also can we just use regular potato?
My lactose intolerance watching Emmy eat the cheese stuffed one 👀👀
I love hashbrows at Mcdonalds especially when they’re well-done..Can’t wait to try out this cheesy version
Videos are short and all the same. So many paid promotions. Disappointing.
holy f
I’ve heard that the beef tallow was removed years ago. I’d be surprised if they brought it back.

If McDonald's put cheese in their hash browns they better pay you for doing it first. Yes!!!!!!
Wait did she add any seasonings?
Yes! I really want to have hash browns and tater tots, but I'm allergic to onions so I can't eat the stuff from the store

I love to compost. It greatly reduces our garbage waste for the week.
What kind of knife is that? 😍🤩
I really want a shirt that says “eat da ducky mause”
Looks delicious!
What would happen if you airfry them instead of deepfrying???
To much “stinking” in your vocabulary! It’s stinking annoying!
Would grating as opposed to chopping be a bad idea?
