    Hey my dear Jill,
    I watched nearly all your cakes videos and already made many of them as you know…but this lemon cake I just discovered after all these years shame on me sorry 😅

    This looks really easy as a nice classic treat when we want something sweet without a "huge dense cake"!

    I see someone on the comments saying we can substitute 1 flax egg with 1/3 cup unsweetened Applesauce you confirm?
    So that would make 1 cup Applesauce in total to substitute the 3 flax eggs?

    Coconut you use are flakes or dessicated Coconut?

    Last, the cake can be stored in freezer with frosting?

    Print recipe change alert: coconut is listed twice for the frosting. The first mention of it under frosting needs to go under the cake batter ingredients above. I have the cake baking in my oven right now and it smells heavenly. Thank you!

    Jill do you think it would be ok to use all oat flour (less fat than almond flour/ plus I don't have almond flour ) ? also there is coconut twice in cake recipe is that right one is shredded coconut and ?? / Love your recipes I follow sos free diet also 🙂

    So today is my grandsons birthday where the traditional cakes that are incredibly yummy and expensive if I might add and the burgers will be had by the rest of my family. I know I cannot eat that kind of food anymore so I have been so excited all week to make this cake at least for me. I just took the cake out of the oven. I am also making your carrot dogs, they are marinating. I am going to use your pizza crust recipe and some how make a bun out of it. I know I am going to use the cheese sauce from the pizza recipe for sure. Thank you for your videos !!!!
