I proof my yeast because like you it’s now a habit. I want to make sure my yeast is good before I add it to the other things so incase it’s not I don’t ruin everything and have to start over. Wasting all the ingredients
I learned to proof yeast working in a military day care kitchen. The head cook taught me. I ask what she was doing and bless her heart she explained it. Just like explaining how to make gravy. I was was 28 when I learned these things.
Nice bread. My mom never proofed her yeast because she never new about it. Lot of thing my mom did not know that I’m thankful that I was shown or now have YouTube.

Hi Renea and Mr. Wayna. Beautiful bunnies–they look so so soft. Your chickens are some pretty ladies and the roosters are some handsome men–they look well cared for and well loved–as it should be! I haven't tried the rye bread yet but this one is next on the bucket "bread to make" list. As always enjoyed our visit and have a blessed day.

Your practical, efficient, wholesome recipes, pictures of greenhouse, and chickens bring back such great memories of my grandmother's small farm. I can smell the bread and Swedish meatballs. And your advice about the potato planting video to come is much anticipated. Videos make seed starting and planting much too complicated and costly for many. I do things the old way and have been successful with container and raised bed gardening on my deck and 2 acre lot with a couple wooden raised beds. Any advice on discouraging woodchuck and chipmunks from raiding anything not covered by metal mesh? I don't have a greenhouse.
I am probably 10 years older than you but your videos bring a smile to my face every time. Thank you. Simple, uncomplicated and unfussy is what I like.

Hi Renea, Those Baby Bunnies are so Precious. .I would love to see them live out their live naturally, but we know that always isn't the case. God Love His Creations. And this has been a beautiful video. I will try the all purpose and wheat flours, 1/2 and 1/2 mix. Mine did turn out o k and it was delicious. I used Bread flour though, but i will make this Recipe next to see if i like it better cause mine with Bread Flour didn't rise up so well as yours. Thank you so much for the helpful hits to make my breads better. God Bless You and Your Family. Mr. is so polite. You married a Gem there Renea.
