FYI "overproof" rum means it's double to triple the alcohol strength. Regular rum is typically 80 proof = 40% alcohol, whereas overproof rum contains more alcohol by volume (ABV) and I believe it can be as strong as 90 up to 150 proof
I thought when you tasted the batter, it didn't taste "rummy" enough (is rummy even a word 🤔) then you were gonna free hand pour more rum in that batter 😅. Yes, where was the color in that cake? Thanks for sharing
Hi Ms. Nettie 🙋🏽♀️. This looks so moist and delish. Oh yes this reminds me of when my Mom use to make these. Once she made one for New Year's Eve. I was young and I danced around that cake, dipping my finger in that glaze every 5 minutes 😂 I know you enjoyed that!!!
