Thank you for sharing this 'recipe'. I am ready for that to be my tomorrow night's dinner! It looks like it would be a low-cal, high nutrition kind of meal, too.
I can warm my hands over videos like this. Without question this method retains nutrients. I also save the liquid, if any is left, for soup stock. A beautiful dish, full of flavor and common sense. Thanks.
You're right. Steaming is better than boiling. More flavorful and nutritious. But that pot liquor honey! That's some good sopping with cornbread. I'll take it either way.
I have always boiled my cabbage dinners but since you say it tastes better steamed I am going to try that. Either way it's a good meal. Thanks for sharing. 🌞 I really enjoy your videos
Fast, easy and delicious. I used apple smoked ham for a little smokey sweetness. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
Hell yes!
Wow, interesting 🤔
Right smart
I tried this it was so easy and so good. I like my ham and cabbage dry so it was good for me. I guess I could put the remaining water in it.
I’m trying this over the weekend. I usually boil the cabbage but steamed sounds better. So looking forward to it
Blessings ❤️

I tried this recipe adding sliced fennel and some fennel seed. It was fabulous.
Looks great. I will try this. Do you recommend a sauce? Parsley perhaps? Thank you.
Yum ! thanks 💐
I prefer green beans instead of carrots -does the cabbage and green beans or carrots pick up the ham flavor as well with this method
Yummy!
What a great recipe! Thank you very much 👌
Man that looks tasty…and simple. I have to make that for sure. Thank you!

Steaming is great. I reheat cooked chicken over steam and it is so juicy.
No dried out meat this way!
Wow! Thats a dummy proof meal. I will try that soon.
