Oregano is a huge deal in Greece. It's one of those ingredients (along with olive oil, honey, yogurt, feta cheese etc) Greek people debate non-stop over whose home town or place has / makes / produces the best in the world…

Looks delicious 😋. But just wondering, if I don't have a cast iron pan, would the potatoes still come out the same?? In order to get the crispy bits, would a ceramic dish work or a baking pan work as well?

You had the seasoning so even on them, then you stirred it, then you poured water over them to wash off the remaining seasoning…..lol, sorry sweetheart

I cut up the potatoes to let them sit overnight in water in the fridge, but I got distracted and they were soaking for three days! I made them anyway, but they turned out wonderful. So soft on the inside, with Christine's crunchy magic on the outside.

I tried this lemon potatoes recipe with really high quality skirt steak, pita bread and cheesy spinach and there was not a spoonful left! I went light on the oregano because I’m not used to using as much as this wonderful chef but next time I think I will add a little more. Superb! Thank you!

Thank you so much for the lovely recipe and the tips. You were spot on about making it crispy.

I wasn't sure if my potatoes were good for baking so I steamed it in the microwave and then followed the recipe. We all really enjoyed.

Thank you once again. God bless you.

Love that dish~!! How after 09/11 do you bring herbs back from greece? Thing that drive me nuts is thee cheese. I mend, the french may be known for cheese but the Greeks Oh my, they know cheese. And you just can't get them in the USA.
