looks nice. Similar to my local chinese takeaway which is owned by an older women who is traditional only difference is she puts noodles and beansprouts and serves it as the best chicken chow mein ever. Which it is.

I do mine differently, I poach my chicken, bone in too for additional flavours. But I would also prefer a bit more spices like adding shallots, green onions, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, bay leaf, some sort of peppercorn, rock sugar, wine for an intenser flavour. Though I understand the you prefer more simple cooking! But you should give these ingredients a try. If you guys don't enjoy some of those flavours don't use all.

My husband would eat Asian food EVery night if he could. I love it too. I need to make it at home though because the restaurants are getting a bit expensive. Thank you for more of those recipes from relatives, please!

I love seeing Dude tasting your food after it has been cooked and he do it so well. That chicken dish looks great and must be so delicious and I love the gravy you made with the corn starch and water mix and it helped to make the gravy better. I love the tip on how to look for fresh vegetables when buying them.

I loved the Bugs Bunny reference- that always used to kill me as a kid- that, and when someone got whacked on the head and make those big lumps come up and the little birdies fly around tweeting. Thanks for sharing your Grandma's recipe. It's so important to remember and love and honor those who have gone before us and who helped shape us. She would be proud of you.

Wow…my mom has a similar recipe but rather than onions …its cut up 1.5" to 2" green onions with the ginger …and rather than water….no salt chicken stock . Served with rice is a must:)
Funny thing…reminds me of an old school Chinese restaurant dish…singing chicken in a claypot.

    Looks absolutely delicious!
However, when setting a 3 minute cooking time, you have to ask yourself why you are using a pressure cooker? Maybe this one is better in an regular pot, not steamed? I am thinking that even though our modern electronic appliances do wonders, we shouldn't use them on everything?
    Never the less, yummy!

I enjoy this show. I subscribe to YouTube premium. Now every site wants me to pay more for recipes, full episodes, etc. On top of what I pay for internet, cell data, cable, Netflix, etc. No wonder I can't afford to buy swag!

Some of the greatest food in the world is made by uneducated people who don't use recipes. Youtube is a great thing because these people can show others how they are making their food.
