If you're still looking for a better alternative for floss… waterflossers are AH MA ZING! I love mine so much. nice little gum massage. plus you can spray Eddie with it. 😀
You should try a water flosser! It’s a little expensive up front but a lot less wasteful.
instead of strings for flossing have you tried a water flosser?

Fair trade chocolate, bananas and coffee?
Hi Lisa, the Viet vegan! I buy fair trade organic bananas for 1.19 per ib. in a grocery store down the street from me in Etobicoke, Kipling area. The grocery store is called "Lakeshore Village and Fruits". It's owned by Chinese immigrants, and they offer a variety of Asian produce. I have bumped into some local grocery stand-type markets downtown on Toronto
Get que pasa chips at Costco! I also recommend red lentil pasta (you can also get quinoa, chickpea and black bean). I got mine on amazon but Bulk Barn has them too. I have a floss suggestion that would minimize the plastic waste – get a reusable handle. I have this one: http://www.gumbrand.com/gum-flossmate-floss-handle-845pa.html
get chocosol chocolate!
If you came to the UK you'd have a hard time finding a banana that's not fair trade! On a recent trip back to visit family in the US, I went in a supermarket with my dad and realised there was something strange about the bananas…that's when I realised that I hadn't seen a non fair trade banana in a long time, since before moving to London.
Your video made me google it – apparently a number of national supermarket chains here now only stock fair trade bananas, which would be why I haven't seen a non fair trade banana in so long – https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2012/feb/27/uk-consumers-go-bananas-fairtrade
Love your videos! Have you ever been interested in replacing plastic produce bags with reusable ones?
I am two months late, but you should look at reformation and everlane for ethical items. If those are a little pricey for you ( cause they are for me), PACT (weaepact.com/leggings) has great stuff at a lower price.

Do you watch hot for food on YouTube? Or Lauren toyota's channel? It would be awesome if you guys could do a collab sometime!
"I never realised that bread had a flavour until I ate gluten free bread" – welcome to Coeliac hell haha. I can even pick out the smell of gluten when other people are cooking now. That wheaty taste is one of the things I miss most I think.
Finally a vegan that realizes the importance of ethical and fair trade fashion and labor!!! Are you looking into going zero waste? I'm definitely working on that. I think it's probably a lot better for the enviornment
I'm just learning about veganism, and I really appreciate your style. You're giving me ideas for so many things to try!
I need those Bark Thins in my life. They sell them at Target, apparently, so I know where I'm going tomorrow!
Thank you for all of your hard work!
Great Video!!!!!!!
The barilla gluten free pasta is vegan and OH SO AMAZING!
That ginger is amazing. Thats the same brand I buy. I put it in carrot sauce for noodles, tea everyday this week, and a big pot of soup. It stretched so far!
Shoutouts to the Hibiscus salad!
Oh I have a good recipe for broccoli that you'll defenetly like! Boil some broccoly with baking soda so the color stays freshly green for a couple of minutes (max. 5minutes). Rinse it with cold water to cool it. Mix balsamic vinegar with some olive oil and salt and dip all the brocolli "flowers" in. YUM.
You can find Fair Trade bananas at Whole Foods!
Our Whole Foods has fair trade bananas!
Are you familiar with the Food Empowerment Project and their chocolate list? The do research on a lot of different chocolate companies and determine which ones are sourced ethically. They even have an app that lets you look up brands to see if they ethically source their cocoa. More info here: http://www.foodispower.org/chocolate-list/
lol the emptiness of the bread is the absence of its soul
In Quebec, I go to IGA for fair trade bananas. In Ontario I think it's called Foodland. You could try E-mailing the grocery stores closest to you and they might consider offering FT fruits in their store.
a huuge list of ethical fashion brands http://kristenleotsakou.blogspot.gr/p/ethical-brands.html got this from Kristen Leo's channel 🙂
Not a bad food haul considering!!! For the tights did you check H&M… they have Lyocell Leggings (dont know women lingo between leggings and tights) from their conscious collection (I think they got grey only) $19.99
There's a really good Tru Roots ancient grains gluten free pasta at Costco. I love it.
I like them cold too they taste so much better!
I'm not a chocolate person, I like it very rarely and for the most part I can keep a bar for weeks….except when I'm near those Bark Thins. They are so. good. I'm kind of glad that the regular small bags at the grocery store are so expensive that I'm only tempted when I go to Costco, haha
i dont understand why I cant find gluten-free vegan bread in Montréal… Damn it, they all have egg in there😤
I want avocado toast😦
If they have Guittard chocolate chips in Canada, buy them! They are fair trade and amazing!
