Ken, could you PLEASE do a video to show those who don't know anything about gardening, but would like to? Maybe something you think is simple like your lettuce and tomatoes you had in your salad. I think it would really be helpful since I don't have a green thumb and your are right about saving a little money, but also decrease from the chemicals and from getting sick with all the germs and bacteria, plenty have gotten sick from romaine lettuce and what have you. Thanks for all you do.

My mom grew Italian flat leaf parsley, onions and chives in her yard for decades. The chive plant has the most gorgeous purple flower that complements the green of the rest of it. Radishes are ready to eat in about three and a half weeks and the leaves are edible. I guess the cooking time for white rice varies, but I've become very aware of not overcooking carbs in order to prevent an insulin trigger.

This looks so delicious and easy…….but what type of rice are you using please? Ordinary long grain? Uncle Ben's (which is pre-cooked somehow)? Rice comes in amazing varieties, and even within the same variety, quality can vary widely. I bought some short grain rice at a GREAT price recently ……..we're not enjoying it, it's boring and bland, tasteless really, so I'll try this recipe to hopefully 'perk it up' so I can use it up! Next time I will happily pay more for a well known premium brand. Thanks Ken!
