    My kids get distracted a lot if I'm not sitting with them. I read somewhere that it's important to sit with your kids so you can model healthy eating habits. And I definitely notice a difference in my kids if I sit with them vs when I doing other things.

    When we have beef vegetable soup or chili, we always use ground beef. I was probably 15 years old before I realized stew meat was a thing. Now, my kids are the same way. It's usually cheaper, and you don't have to wait as long to eat.
