I so adore this doctor, Chef AJ! Dr. Niki Davis, the former Rocket Scientist, is extraordinary in the breadth of her belief in our wfpe diet and lifestyle. From her profession as a board certified family medicine doctor, she then went on to be board certified in lifestyle medicine, she expanded upon this by participating in a mentorship in water fasting at True North and also experienced another mentorship with The McDougall Program. She walks her talk with her exercise and what caught my attention was her love of hiking and being outdoors, also so wonderful for our health; her mention of yoga also resonated with me. The future is in great hands, Chef AJ. I attended that first live when Dr. Niki was wearing her pjs! Great chat, delicious recipes and I still have a big 😁 on my face. Thank you both, so much! Happy Thanksgiving, in advance. 🙏🙏💪👍💟💟

Dr Davis is certainly always such a wonderful guest 🙂 she really is zen and nice 😀 I love that way of remembering the pronunciation, Chef AJ, what's-that-your-sauce xD I certainly agree with Dr Davis on talking while cooking, does make it so much more enjoyable! I treasure when I can have people around for that. Though, I also love cooking while watching/listening your show, it's almost like talking with you 🙂 thank you so much for doing this <3 I also do find cooking meditative ^^ just so calming to take my time with it, and not rush. Loved this show, really was a delight, and those recipes seem amazing 😀 thank you so very much <3

I love this show and Apple Crisp is my favorite dessert. 😍 And the gravy looks so good. This show really helps with trying to cook with things and different yummy recipes. This is so yummy and pleasing to the eye.❤️

Loved this show! I have made the McDougall Tofu Loaf and the Golden Gravy for our Thanksgiving dinners for many years. I love the tweaks Dr. Davis showed us. Sounds brilliant to make the loaf a day ahead, then slice and bake to get that crispy layer. I’m definitely doing that. Also love the idea of using my Vitamix to blend the gravy ingredients. Why didn’t I think of that! Chef AJ, thanks for doing these Thanksgiving shows early in the month.

For the apple crisp, instead of using Grape Nuts, use Ezekiel cereal. It's just like the GN but has no flour. And can make bread crumbs from Ezekiel bread.

Thank you Chef AJ for recommending Himalaya restaurant in Sacramento. I grew up in Sacramento and my parents, ages 90 and 92, still live in the same house I grew up in. I will definitely try the restaurant the next time I go home.
