When I was small we had a coal fired range and my mum used to cooked layers of potatoes and onion with knobs if butter on top and then add liver on the very top, it was yummy with some brown sauce, great recipe Jane……… thanks love Wendy ♥️💋

Wonderful Ideas. T.Y. My Version: 6 Russet Potatoes, 1 Sweet Onion, (sliced thin). Layered in Crockpot. On top of each layer add
2 TBLSP. all purpose flour, 2 TBLSP. Unsalted Butter. Pour Milk in until all the ingredients are covered. Cook on high 2 hours, while
stirring frequently. Add any cheese in when its almost done. Sprinkle cut up bacon and green onions on top of each serving. I substitute
1 can of cream of mushroom or celery soup, 1 can of water, or 1/2 can canned milk. instead of milk. I add 25% water, to every 3/4 gallon
of milk. We used 2 big chunks of coal in our wood burner.
