The thing that impresses me most when you are cooking …. is how, even though your pot is full to the brim with ingredients, when you're tossing and stirring everything you don't make a mess! Me – inevitably I flip some on the stove or even manage to plop some on the floor. I am such a sloppy chef. You are always neat and I envy that.
Great recipe. When I make onion soup I often use Swiss cheese for topping and dry sherry for the wine. Like the crouton idea instead of slices of bread.

What about Sherry wine? I just had French onion soup at the Aria in Las Vegas and… it was OK , even sat right in front of the window that had the oven with the soup, but the big glob of cheese grossed me out! Wasn’t melted? got cold to fast?
She keeps saying the stuff at the bottom is fond, but it is pronounced fawn

Hi Rachel , I made some whole wheat tortillas an the dough came out very soft an when I roll them out they were very thin an hard to handle can u help? I’m sure u can just love watching u . U are a blessing to all

Simply delicious, I used to always go to Central Market and get this delicious soup I'd go once a week about 2 years ago I went and they stopped serving it and I was so disappointed because it is so delicious now after seeing you make it it doesn't look terribly difficult so I'm going to give it a go thanks for sharing all of your wonderful recipes they are simply Delicious
