Aww I got a shout out & wasn't even here. I definitely encourage anyone who thinks they are losing slow to do some math.
If you don't see progress from week to week, weigh daily and check your average.
If you lose 3lbs one week then nothing for 2, do some math to figure out how much you're losing per week. X loss # divided by # of weeks.
Another math is percentages, X loss # divided by starting weight.
You'd be surprised at how your perceived low loss, slow loss, etc really makes an impact.
    Do the maths!math!
Will add: 1-2lbs a week is a healthy weight loss rate.
Also, according to Lilly the trial participants lost 22% on their weight in 72 weeks. Hmm this hasn't even been on the market for 72 weeks, what's YOUR percentage lost? I encourage anyone saying this isn't working to do the maths 😅

You are not a slow loser! I have been mounjaro 18 weeks and lost 22 pounds. That being said I did workout regularly before just ate terrible. I move to 10 mg in a week. So curious. But you are averaging over a pound a week and you will less likely lose muscle that is more important

We have T2D in common, but I'm 62 years old (you're a youngster!). I IF 16 hours a day which I find easy, but I have a very, very hard time getting a minimum number of calories in each day. I strive to get 1300 kcal, but generally can't get more than 1150-1200 kcal. I think it's because I only eat for 8 hrs a day. I feel like I'm eating constantly, but as I'm not even a little hungry, it's a chore. I know it seems like a nutty struggle to have, but it's mine and it's real. I try to eat high-calorie, high-protein foods, so, like low-carb protein shakes and Atkins bars. But as I also have no sweet tooth anymore, I'm disinclined to binge on anything. As you have said, each of our journeys is different. I think it's interesting to see precisely how incredibly varied they are. I just got on 7.5 after waiting for several weeks for it to come in (I stayed on 5.0 as I waited) and so far I've only had one weird side-effect, so I feel like it's going to work out. If it relieves my glucose some, I'll call it a win. Great show tonight, Dave. I'm happy to have gotten my foot in the door with a membership.

5.7-6.4 is prediabetic. I don’t think he got that you were talking about blood glucose not eating sugar, but I think the point came across, so maybe he wasn’t talking about A1C. Driving travel is harder. 99% of my work travel was by plane. It requires a lot of planning to travel by car. Of course, I eat from DoorDash most of the time, even at home. There are plenty of great options from restaurants, just more limited with fast food.

I did keto years ago and lost 65 lbs but have since gained most of it back and it really messed up my mental thinking about food. It is so hard to undo that carbs are not bad and no food should be avoided because that's not healthy. I still struggle but Mounjaro is helping me to eat normal foods, at normal portions without restricting any particular food group.

As an IT consultant, I started traveling again for work around January 2022. Weekly flights to client site and during a peroid of six months, due to the tiredness and stress of travel as well as difficulty because of having to eat out when traveling, I gained about 35 lbs! Thats when I realize this weekly airplane travel and hectic schedule was impacting my health. I changed positions and no longer travel as much.

I may have missed it, but just for clarification, Mounjaro is a GIP RA, a single molecule that was modified to affect GLP-1. Mounjaro is a new class.
