I have not known that pharmacists here in Canada could "de-prescribe" a medication. I wonder if that is a pattern found across the country, or just in certain provinces?

I have an idea for a big financial backer: health insurance companies. They stand to reduce their (and our) financial-drain for every one of us who improve our health and reduce drug dependency, surgery, hospital stays, etc. Who else could fund “our” cause? Big, successful companies who lose worker-productivity due to sick and debilitated employees who are not at work because of the effects of their poor nutritional diets and lifestyle choices. Meanwhile, whether or not the new 2020 My Plate (replacing/supplanting the Food Pyramid) advocates lowering the intake of high-carb foods, consuming more healthful fats, maintaining adequate protein intake, and eating more raw/lightly steamed leafy and assorted vegetables, we (this group) will eat according to the Low Carb USA plans. Keep bringing on the researchers, the physicians, the dietitians, etc. and anyone else with reputable proof that good nutrition begets good health. Stay brave and please consider inviting corporate health-insurance and a few major companies to view/attend your presentations. PS I’m also a KetoMojo user 🎯. Thank you!

I have really appreciated your work. As a family physician I have been supplying my patients with short term ketone testing supplies using the KetoMojo. Trying to reduce the barrier of entry to restored health.

One way to know that we are onto truth is that it is costing everyone involved financially to be a part of this movement. On the other hand it is so rewarding that when people ask me about retirement I don’t even want to think about it.

Just like deprescribing, the physiology that we are prescribing leads to “unburnout” on the providers part.

    Thanks again!
