Today I’m sharing MORE freezer cooking for fourth trimester, postpartum prep! Lol That was wordy… This turned out to be SO HANDY! Seriously its been …
Your cooking/ food related videos are my favourite!! 😍
Those bean roll ups look sooo good!
I wish I had a separate freezer so I could pre-plan meals out like this.
This one was so funny, everytime you would say "I did this step" it would be Dan's hairy arm actually doing it. Love it. Lol ♡♡♡
I just love this video.
All seems so delicious! I loved it 🙂
These freezer meals are amazing! Definitely will keep in mind.
I really like organization so I had to check out if there were some other nice ways to store food in the freezer… Have you checked out the containers on Amazon/online? Just to keep the integrity of the shape of the food, I like the stacking containers better than ziploc bags. They have a lot of nice ones and I was surprised to see that they weren't too expensive. It might be great for you and your growing family. You can put a sticker with the food title and date taped to the side so you can see what you have.
Hi Nikki, I know this is super random, but where did you get your couch? I know you mentioned it in a few Volgs, but I can’t find it. I’m buying a house and want to try to find yours or something similar.
Ok so the dates look amazing and I want to try them. I love date and have them on hand pretty much all the time so I am going to try and make your dessert recipe.
Love the freezer recipes.
You mentioned watching a Homesteader video who do you watch?
i like the rolled tacos and you are so sweet , I love you with Jesus Christ (The Word)
Meal planning before a baby is a game changer! Wish I would of known about those date snacks they look delicious and peanut butter and chocolate was a combo I always craved haha
I love the idea of freezing all of the food but not how many plastic bags are going to get tossed out in the process… I do want to try the toquitos and the stuffed dates though!!
I just made a recipe VERY similar to your lasagna this week, except I turned it into loaded mac n cheese! Totally interested to try this as a lasagna freezer meal instead!!
those PB stuffed dates with sea salt & white chocolate OMG!
Oh man, the pear+vanilla+oat smoothie looks delicious!!!! I’ll have to try that soon!! Thanks for the great ideas 👍🥰😘😍 everything looks delicious 😊😊😊
Do you have any tips for doing this without using so much plastic waste? I would love the freezer cook but could never use all those ziplock bags, can you put the trays in whole?
That lasagna looked SO GOOD. I definitely want to try that variation!
All these look amazing I’m drooling 🤤 lol I’m for sure gonna try this but question ?? How long does it last in freezer .. maybe a dumb question but about how long before it needs to be eaten .?
Your food always looks so yummy! I’m definitely going to try the smoothie recipe and dates! Love you ❤️❤️
So satisfying. You are so right. I just had my baby boy a few days ago and I wish I had prepared better food wise.
I'm super motivated to try this now! In the past, I've done the freezer to crock pot thing, and I just wasn't a fan of that. A lot of the recipes called for canned cream of "fill in the blank" soups….and they just didn't cook up right in the crock pot. Perhaps having things already pre-cooked and portioned in single serve bags would go a long way with all of my picky eaters!! Definitely excited to try the smoothie bag idea, as I'm aiming to breastfeed our little one when she arrives<3
How do you thaw/reheat items like your dips or pesto?
Costco dates are the BOMB!
Watching you freeze your food makes me want to start freezing my food all the time now. Would make my life a lot easier with a two year old.
The tip of looking in the freezer section is helpful. Sometimes I forget all that I can premake, but really the options are endless!
How do you defrost bread and the meals? D: someone please help. Do you put it in the microwave? Do you take them out the night before? What do you do?
I’ve made those dates multiple times since you showed how to make them and me and my mother in law are obsessed
Oh hey I'm just food prepping with nikki 😃
Since you freeze everything just wanted to know how long do the meals last for in the freezer? And how do you reheat just microwave or in the oven? I don’t really like to use the microwave unless I have to. Thank you for the video it’s really inspired me to freeze meals. I have never done that before. And also Idk how I missed your delivery video 😱 😍. Congrats on your new little one. Truly am so happy for you guys!! And you are so strong! I’ve always had my babies with epidural 😬.
I love you nikki! But i have the worst morningsickness (well 24/7) so right now i cant watch this 😓😢😢😢
And shredded cheese is so much more expensive!
Please Nikki more freezer meals!!!!😍 I love them!!! the only thing I freeze are lasagna, tomato sauce, and ‘passato di verdure’ that is mixed vegetable soup…and I use to freeze chopped parsley and basil…that’s a great help since I can’t cook without them 🤪
I would like to try the dates, I’m trying to kick junk food, so the dates will be a great alternative
I love those chipotle peppers! They make everything taste good. I usually put them in tuna and pasta dishes and it’s delicious. Definitely try it out in the future. 😋
That looks soooo amazing 😍 love your videos. All of them. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Nikki!! So happy for you and Dan being able to celebrate a happy, healthy, baby Logan!! I really loved watching you prepare all these freezer meals, and I’m sure it’s been an absolute life saver since labor!!! While I’m pescatarian, I will say my favorite looking recipe is the veggie soup (or the chicken soup with vegan chicken strips) or the taquitos!!! I LOVE Mexican food so I will definitely try out this recipe. Looks so yummy!!! Wishing you guys the best of luck with your newborn, Congratulations!!! 🙂
I would have never thought to mix pears and oats as a smoothie but if it works, I gotta try it! 🙂
