Hey friends! In this video I decided to make a Thanksgiving dinner using only ingredients (minus spices) from the Dollar Tree! *The Dollar Tree isn’t always the …
That was very creative over it
I cant have turkey cos of allergies and am on both a kosher and a gluten free diet for life due to being a Celiac . I would choose a Pork Chop if it was me , and the asparagus , I use gluten free cornmeal and make my own cornbread etc most of my stuf I make is all from scratch .I cant have processed foods .And the worst thing is this where I live there are no DT or DG stores at all .I live in a town of 12,000 ppl .
I read a lot of the comments, but I didn't see the outcome of using the almond milk. Was everything good? The muffins?
I think you did a great Thanksgiving dinner. Great idea on the turkey roll-ups. If it were just two people, you could even use two slices. I would consider it an honor to sit at your table.
If you decide to make the cornbread again, you might try adding a couple tablespoons of corn to the mix. It's a hit at my house.
Great job
your dinner looked great! you dont have to spend a ton of money to have good meals. like to see more videos like this. take care friends happy holidays
What a nice looking, colorful table! I think the turkey roll ups are genius, and are giving me so many ideas! Thank you and keep up the excellent content, Lisa!
Here in the South we eat our βcornbread dressingβ on the side.
I make my dressing on the side. Cornbread with sage sausage and apples. I generally cook a turkey breast rather than a whole turkey so there's no waste
That turkey roll was a great idea!! I'm going to try it with vegan "turkey" lunch meat!
Great video!
With the stuffed turkey rollups, pour just a little bit of gravy over the rolls as they bake. It comes out so moist, flavorful, and delicious!
Great job I make deli turkey stuffing roll ups regularly . Tfs πππ¦
I love your intro. Speaking up about food acceptance and what's available is incredibly important for a very large number of folks in this country. Thank you.
Talking about Deli Turkey… Back when we were all single, a group of us decided to get together and have Thanksgiving together. One of the girls offered to take care of the turkey. The big day came and we all showed up with our dishes and Laura hands a bag to me. It was cold and weighed about 3 pounds… I said what's this? The Turkey she says. I can't cook, but deli turkey works for me. So, we all had sliced, cold deli turkey. It worked and we still laugh about it all these years later.
Just wanted to say you are thoughtfully creative. Some people don't have mercy on those who struggle to make ends meet let alone put together a meal. People joke about struggle meals but until they actually have to seriously make one they don't understand. Thank you.
This Thanksgiving dinner looks absolutely delicious!!! I absolutely love how you make things work on a budget!!! Thanks for sharing all of these excellent videos π I always look forward to the next one!!
I would have never thought… Ingenious idea with the turkey!! Now I'm hungry looking at all that food!!
I wonder if pan frying the Turkey roll after putting stuffing in it would be good. Give it a little brown color and bring out some good flavor!

Your creativity never ceases to amaze me!!
This is brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing this.

You used less on the almond milk then you do in the regular if he is a full 1/2 cup of almond milk it'll be soupy and won't get done Ibotta is giving out free turkey
Looks delicious π
I love that you are so creative and optimistic and you proved that you can make a feast out of minimal ingredients. Great job.
Lisa, I am truly impressed by your videos. Youβre not out there promoting your line of merchandise or constantly asking for patreons to give you money. You obviously make your videos with one simple purpose in mind, and that is to be a help to others. I have a friend that lives over your way. He has been out of work for quite some time now and is frankly struggling financially. Tonight I ask him what his plans for Thanksgiving were, and he admitted he hadnβt really given it much thought. So, Iβm going to make sure he has a satisfying turkey dinner on that day. Thank you again for all the helpful and creative cooking ideas for those of us on a budget.
