I cant have turkey cos of allergies and am on both a kosher and a gluten free diet for life due to being a Celiac . I would choose a Pork Chop if it was me , and the asparagus , I use gluten free cornmeal and make my own cornbread etc most of my stuf I make is all from scratch .I cant have processed foods .And the worst thing is this where I live there are no DT or DG stores at all .I live in a town of 12,000 ppl .

I think you did a great Thanksgiving dinner. Great idea on the turkey roll-ups. If it were just two people, you could even use two slices. I would consider it an honor to sit at your table.

I love your intro. Speaking up about food acceptance and what's available is incredibly important for a very large number of folks in this country. Thank you.

Talking about Deli Turkey… Back when we were all single, a group of us decided to get together and have Thanksgiving together. One of the girls offered to take care of the turkey. The big day came and we all showed up with our dishes and Laura hands a bag to me. It was cold and weighed about 3 pounds… I said what's this? The Turkey she says. I can't cook, but deli turkey works for me. So, we all had sliced, cold deli turkey. It worked and we still laugh about it all these years later.

Just wanted to say you are thoughtfully creative. Some people don't have mercy on those who struggle to make ends meet let alone put together a meal. People joke about struggle meals but until they actually have to seriously make one they don't understand. Thank you.

Lisa, I am truly impressed by your videos. You’re not out there promoting your line of merchandise or constantly asking for patreons to give you money. You obviously make your videos with one simple purpose in mind, and that is to be a help to others. I have a friend that lives over your way. He has been out of work for quite some time now and is frankly struggling financially. Tonight I ask him what his plans for Thanksgiving were, and he admitted he hadn’t really given it much thought. So, I’m going to make sure he has a satisfying turkey dinner on that day. Thank you again for all the helpful and creative cooking ideas for those of us on a budget.
