Thank you so much for this very helpful video. I am vegan, and I've been watching this video for over a year now. I've already prepared several vegan versions! 😊 I just substitute the cheese and sour cream with plant based versions, and I use the liquid JustEgg for the eggs. It's so incredibly delicious! I am rewatching today to make it for an upcoming "Friendsgiving" potluck. I can't thank you enough, and I hope that you and your loved ones are all well and enjoying this holiday season. 🥰♥️💚

I made this for my family (first time ever doing the entire dinner) and it was a hit. I hope you can do a recipe updated by doubling it. I doubled it and it was in the oven a lot longer than 45mins and I was also using a glass pan. But still yummy! thank you

Followed the recipe exactly except I added hatch green chilies and red pepper and onion, used pepper jack cheese on top. It was DELICIOUS! And perfect! Love your recipes Rachel❤

Making this right now. It's 6 a.m. in Chicago. Made it yesterday, but put it inside the fridge to bake it this morning. Sour cream really makes it moist and creamy. The only thing I didn't add were onions. I'm not a big fan of onions in my cornbread. Otherwise, everything you mentioned, for ingredients, I used. I can't wait to try this casserole later today. 😋♥️😋 Making a 2nd casserole because the 2nd one will not have cheese on top . Made 2 cornbread casserole — 1 will have cheese and 2nd 1 will not have cheese.

I made this today, the day before Thanksgiving! It was delicious… light and moist, lots of flavor. I added two small peppers and some paprika. Reheats just fine! I like to cook/prep the side dishes the day before. This was great!😊

Can this be made a day ahead and if so, I’m assuming it should be stored in the fridge until the day to bake. I hope so because I’ve already made mine and I’m getting ready to put it in the fridge until tomorrow. Can’t wait.

I like your recipe, just a suggestion… I printed out your directions to use, but I actually had to go back to the video to find out the preheating temp, and when to add the cheese. It would be nice to include that in your directions 🙂
