I've made this several times following Chef John's recipe closely. Delicious, easy to make, sort of a can't miss recipe. Having a meat thermometer to test the internal temperature of the turkey is very helpful.

I have a turkey sandwich tip: I buy a can of cranberry sauce – I like the whole cranberry type but whatever – and freeze it in ice cube trays. When I make a turkey sandwich, or other types, I defrost/drain a little cube of cranberry sauce to spread on the sandwich. So good.
