I watch Bob and Brad on YT for all my aches & pains.😁 They are great physical therapists and I have had amazing success applying what I learn from them. Our temps at 90°…heading up to 92° tomorrow. 😓

Both meals looked yummy. Using up the pizza in the strada was a great idea. Weren't you so pleased after working in the yard to come inside to a prepared meal? How was your pickled egg on your pretty salad? I bet it was good. I have a really bad back also (3 herniated discs). I have never found a resolution for not being sore after gardening/pulling weeds, etc. I usually stretch my back once I come in and usually take a hot shower and stretch some more. It helps but I know it's going to get more difficult as I get older. I don't like taking any medication, so I give my back a days rest in between projects generally. You're little neck fan is pretty cool and your frother too. I have a similar frother and I loved it but I dropped it just once and it won't work anymore. Don't be clutzy like me and drop it…. 😆 Lol.

I am like you Ellen, I live alone and cook by the seat of my pants, whatever is available in my fridge, pantry, or freezer, I use it up and then stock up again. Although I do have a second pantry for food items in case of emergency. Love your channel!!

You were so smart to prepare dinner in the morning…knowing you were going to be tired after another day in the garden. I'm going to do that tomorrow morning. I have produce that needs attention so I'll get some of that cut up and ready for a stir fry (which is about my favorite meal). I woke up to a chilly morning. It was in the 30's outside and only 63 in the house. Yikes! I turned on the heat and hopped back in bed after letting Chloe out to do her thing at about 6:00 am. Then it warms up to the 80's mid day and I have to have a fan blowing on me. I had no idea you were only 5 ft tall; then again, I've never seen you standing next to another adult so it never occurred to me. I'm about 5' 7" now that I've shrunk an inch. Being tall really comes in handy. Haha

I didn't realize you routinely walked. That's great. I look at eecipe 20% of the time and freelance the other 80%. I also watched and worked with my Mom and sisters in the kitchen.

Good strategy. Everything is a trade off for folks like us. You probably shouldn't be walking with all the physical labor with the gardening.

My rheumatologist has me medicate before physical activity. It does help.

    Gentle hugs…don't hurt yourself.
