Also, she said it can take up to 45 minutes to come up to pressure, well I waited two hours, hahahahaha, then a message "no pressure" kept coming. The button would even rise nicely thinking it was going to pressurize, suddenly the button goes back down after so much wasted time. It just boils the meat to death in this experience, ugh. If I can get them to send me a new ring, and it fixes the problem I will ask if I can buy more replacements. Assuming Ninja Mexico will support us in our area. I bet, Mexico builds the units like so many things sold in the US. Too funny, when I buy some items through Amazon US, I get the item and it says, "made in Mexico", geez I live here why can't we get it here????? Like Corona beer, you can't get it in Mexico, and yet it is MADE IN MEXICO! Only to be sold in the US you lucky people!

Okay, been chatting with Ninja for the past almost hour, the support seems to think it is the ring it came with as to the problem and gave me their "Mexico" Ninja support numbers and email to contact them. Amazon is an official seller for the units but not their parts and accessories, so my Dear One no need to figure that out for the extra pot. If you notice, going on amazon, you cannot find any accessories or parts for their pressure cookers, not even the rings. So hopefully their Ninja support for Mexico will be able to…well, support me with this problem.

I will put it back in storage temporarily, I will call Ninja first, I've had it too long for amazon to do anything, Ninja will probably want me to return this one, I will only if they will pay for shipping very very expensive, in hopes for another new one, which you already said your folks got even worse problems. Not your exact words of course.

Okay, I tried again today, the day after your video, after the second batch last night it would not go to pressure again, I added water about an inch over the meat this time, open the lid the meat is floating above the liquid, so I separated the meat getting it below the water, it got to pressure. So today I thought, okay I won't add all the meat I have been, just a single batch instead of two batches in the past, brought the water level to max, meat well under the liquid about two inches. After an hour nope won't come to pressure. I open the lid the meat is well under the liquid, I adjust the seal ring (which I washed), this time I finally get the message "no pressure", two hours later nothing, no message yet after a half hour. This must be a lemon. I am so sad.

No stores in Mexico sell the Ninja's at all, they have to be ordered through Amazon but thank you for the suggestion. I am using this for cooking their meat because it is sooooo easy to wash the pot, this is the downfall with the Instant Pots, even their so-called non-stick pots are a bear to clean.

Nope, don't like it at all. I am, from the beginning, doing everything according to the manual. I put back the sealing ring it came with, this will be the last of four attempts, for the last over two hours trying, and I want to cry because my fur kids have not eaten yet I had to go into town for more meat which in itself is a delay, and I do not need this frustration with the OL701. I also added more water, the manual said it won't come to pressure if not enough liquid, my thinking adding up to the "2" (I assume two cups what I do for the Instant Pot) line it would seem that would be enough, but I added water too to cover the meat completely. If this last attempt does not come to pressure this unit it will go back in my storage and give up, donate it for all uses but pressure cooking. I am really sad, and really sad over $400 down the commode. As I am writing this this last attempt it came to pressure, so I will do everything I did this last attempt since I need to cook for tomorrow's meal and see if the repeat will work without issue. Here is hoping that I am close to figuring out how this testy pain in the tush unit works. OMG.

Oh my, I am not liking the OL701 Ninja pressure cooker, I timed it this time, after 45 minutes I get a message "no pressure", which I keep getting, so I adjust the silicone seal because it seems flimsy, then gets to pressure after a very long time waiting, than the next time I adjusted the seal automatically, same message and the button each time does not rise, so I thought maybe it's got broth splashed in the button area because I have the meat to the max line, wiped it and pushed up on it. This seemed to work and okay it got to pressure. Using it again right now and same dang thing, I even replaced the flimsy seal it came with, with a new one I bought for my Instant Pots, again message no pressure, so I cleaned the button area again and pushed up on it just to make sure it is not stuck and once again message "no pressure". I put water up to the "2" line I assume to cups level. So, is this unit not able to pressure cook mass sliced meat up to its maximum? Like I can with "all" my Instant pots? Sounds like folks are getting lemons, I hope this is not the case for me living in Mexico I would be SOL I am sure.

I would love to know how your chowder came out; I assume in the pressure cooker using slow cook function. I would love a good chowder recipe; I love soups in the colder months. I love your Q & A's.
