I achieved the crispy taste by burning my sweet potatoes
Can you just keep the sweet potatoes in the oil and then turn the temperature of the oil up for the second fry phase to avoid taking them out of the oil?
okay, i was skeptical but my pregnancy cravings kicked in and boi these came out phenomenal. i m no chef and these steps were so clear, i got it in the first try. I would recommend peeling the skin, it tasted a bit raw but overall they were so great, i definitely recommend sprinkling a good amount of salt before eating it. THANK YOU chef, this is worth gaining every pound!!!!!!
Doesn't the soaking in water for 30 minutes remove a lot if not all vitamins & minerals?
Peanut or coconut oil are to be prefered as they do NOT generate toxins at high temperatures like other oils do.

I do mine in an air fryer. They come out lovely and crisp and no need for dangerous pans of boiling oil.
