You do realize these are generic pressure cookers. Go from 7# pressure to 15# of pressure as they work…..Just different buttons.
Not very methodical in your comparisons. You should have used your FREE Cosori pot before you attempted any of you side by side trials. They were about as messed up as you hair. BTW, how much did you pay someone to jack your hair up like that?!!!
I've had a NESCO 6 qrt PC for about 6-7 years. FREAKNG LOVE IT..it comes up to pressure really fast – REALLY FAST.. Downside it's has the old coated pot – NOT GOOD.. So..here is the deal.. My Nesco is 1000Watts… Both the Corsori and the InstaPot 6qt units are both rated at 1000Watts.Corsori has a larger unit rated at 1200Watts .and they too should come up to pressure as fast as mine when they are tested with equal foods/liquids. At this juncture..I would likely go with the Corsori.
The comparison is definitely unfair from the remarks heard on your youtube video.
I have both pressure cookers but really prefer the Corsori over the Instant Pot, and
I have both the Cosori and Instant Pot 6 quart pressure cookers, and the two mini's
as well.
Hi!!! I like comparison .I just found your channel .I am thinking of getting a Instant Pot. I will watch some of your videos!!! I am from OHIO. Where are you from??? A fan and friend. DiDi( die die(
Thank you , guys for your video!
I use both 3 quart instant pot and 3 quart Cosori. I find Cosori easier to use and for the price you get more accessories. Cosori also pressurized faster and depressed faster since it had a larger pressure valve. However, instant pot for some reason feels like a tougher plastic build quality (partially because when the machines accidentally fell more plastic parts fell off the Cosori).
Did you used to be a blonde I bet you was a blonde when you met your husband
Now I see why your husband bought you an instant pot maybe you can't not cook
You forgot to push start
not very scientific("I left them in their the rest of the day while i went to work." LOL.) but great entertainment value. I love the kids in the background and the cool cameo by the husband.
did you even turn the cosori on for the rice ? 4:05 zero steam … fail is right
Are the inner pots interchangeable between the Instant Pot and the Cosori?
I am new to my cosori but my lid does stay attached
So, did anyone ever figure why the difference in the cook times for the rice? Thx.
Every Instant Pot I have seen has a steamer trivet. The trivet is just lower. You obviously didnt read the directions for the Cosari.
Price?
The 6 minutes on the Cosori is th ewarm up time. Then the rice cooks.
Wonderfully done. Thanks for the comparison. I have the IP and have found that if you don't have enough liquid it will give false pressure readings or not build up to full pressure.
I just ordered the cousori cause Amazon had it in sale for 60dollars. Can't wait for it to come in. I wanted the instapot but I am glad I got a better deal.
i got the cosori cuz of this and another review. Heard there are more IP recipes though so i'm hoping i can use the same recipes for Cosori.
Just an update. I got my 8qt Cosori today. Unlike the one that you have, mine comes with the main lid attached so I don't have to lay it somewhere on the counter. this looks like a quality solid unit. I like the idea that Cosori promoted their safety features as I've found some others that had issues with exploding. Now, I cook the Passover lamb.
do you have an air fryer? would love your opinion on that product if you have or use one
Thanks. You helped to confirm that I just made the right choice in purchasing the 8qt Cosori today. Have an awesome day!
This just seemed Biased to me! But at least you got a FREE Cosori!!
The comparison seemed unfair for at least 3 reasons: (1) Your husband's input about the additional heating time (for the rice) seemed to have been ignored in your assessment at the end (2) You mentioned that you weren't sure if the amounts of water were the same for the beans, so already these preparation conditions were different (so to say the Instant Pot beans were soggy/clumped seems biased because it may have been due to different amounts of water) (3) More buttons are not necessarily good – it may mean the Instant Pot was designed better (so has simpler interface) – Cosori had SO many buttons that its start button wasn't pushed on the rice (first try). The Instant Pot didn't need a start button push so seems better designed. PS – Since my wife is making me watch these videos, she said it was OK for me to add my 2 cents 🙂
Thank you for this video. I love my instapot but definitely interested in any other pressure-cooker at affordable price.
Excellent video! I held out for an Instant Pot because my hubby didn't want to mess with the off brand because of the money we were fronting for it. It seems to be equivalent. Cool! Also, I just bought my instant pot a few weeks ago and it came with 2 different spoons.
Just got a cosori, haven't used it yet but got cuz it was significantly less than Instapot on Amazon. I want to do beans first lol
you never gave the difference it the wattage the instant isn't has high as this corcorie and the other pressure cookers higher as well not fair comparisons
check the temperature the watts maybe different thats why it took longer
Fun video
