I love your southern accent❤Its sounds so special. In sweden we also have some accent that stands out that I love too hear. The one in the northern part, and also the south part and then we have a Island called Gotland that is very unick in its sounds. ❤

Looks so good ! Brings back memories for me of the good times gone by with my mama and daddy and our family. We always just made cornbread dressing like yours but my mama never put biscuits in it. So delicious. I make mine like she did almost like yours, no sage though, none of us like the taste. Thank you for all the good recipes. I love to cook and you give me some new ideas, God bless! Love the Christmas music, I could listen all year long to Christmas music. 🙏🎄

This is my favorite dressing of all! My mother used dried white bread with cornbread but I love the cornbread and biscuits. Never heard of putting in the soup but know it must be wonderful.

I enjoyed the video. Your dressing is very similar to mine. I do have one suggestion though….I'm the recipe you need to add temp and cooking time in case people want to write it down and don't have to consult the vis every time. Also the cooking directions for the gravy.

Cornbread Dressing doesn't have any of that cranberries and sausage mess in it…that is called "Stuffing" and it isn't a southern thing😉

I make my dressing ratio like yours…mother always had me test the dressing to see if there was enough sage in it and she too made the cornbread in advance, used the biscuits from breakfast Thanksgiving morning, and boiled her chicken for the broth👍🏻

I think all southern grandmothers passed this recipe .down in some form. My wife of 46 years uses her homemade potato bread instead of biscuits for a lighter texture . In our little town its a favorite at our bakery this time of year.
