We make our spaghetti in our instant pot now! It’s so easy and sooo much better than making it the normal way. You sauté the meat (real meat or vegan meat) first. Then add the pasta. We use banza pasta which is gluten free! Break in half and lay in a cross cross pattern on top of the meat. Then you add a full jar of spaghetti sauce. Then add a full jar of water (we just use the spaghetti sauce jar we used). You want the noodles to be totally covered by the sauce. Pressure cook on high for 8 minutes! So easy!!!! It may seem too watery at first but just give it about 5 minutes and it will thicken. By the way I am absolutely in love with the BB8 pot!! Haven’t watched onward yet but looking forward too!!

I loved this! Such a cute video 🙂
One of my favourite instant pot recipes is this leek and potato soup:
    Ingredients
2-3 leeks, cleaned and sliced into half moons
3 Yukon gold potatoes, roughly cubed
2 Tbsp of butter (or whatever fat/oil you want)
    1 clove of garlic, minced
    Salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp of flour
    4 cups veggie stock
    2 bay leaves
    3/4 tsp dried thyme
    Pinch of nutmeg
    Instructions
    1. Turn the instant pot to saute on high. Once hot, add butter and saute leeks until soft (4 min ish).
    2. Add garlic and saute 30 sec to 1 min, until fragrant.
    3. Add flour, stir and saute for 2 min.
    4. Add veggie stock, potatoes, bay leaves, thyme, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine, scraping the flour off the bottom of the pot.
    5. Cancel saute. Put the lid on with the vent in the sealing position. Turn on pressure cook on high for 6 min.
    6. Once done pressure cooking, do a natural pressure release for 15 min, and then a quick release.
    7. Puree the soup until smooth (food processor, blender, immersion blender – whatever you have).
    8. Serve with crackers.

Omg so fun!! BB8 is a huge hit in our house. The Mac 🧀 looks delish! Definitely putting it on my list to make. Onward was a miss for us, unfortunately 😔. The kids weren't into it & it wasn't my fav either. I hope you enjoy it & love it! Xo #shannonrocks
