Do you have a Dutch oven? I like it better than a slow cooker. Sometimes the slow cooker is too slow!! All soups and stews I make in the Dutch oven – in the oven or stove top. It makes a great moist black beans and brown rice.
I raised 7 sons – they ate it or not. I told them I wasn’t a short order cook!! Lol! I did let them cook something on their own starting at age 4-5! Then now LOVE all kinds of food.
Does your husband cook at all? You are so organized. 🙂
