Good morning friends 😊 plants used: Little dwarf arborvitae, superbells (grape punch, strawberry punch and evening star) 1 daybreak supertunia. I’m always leaving out something lol. Also, we went down to 37° last night 🤣😅, I did not cover and all seems well this morning. Back in 70’s we go.

I love your channel, I too rescue plants from Lowes.. I have Black eye Susan’s , Purple Cone Flowers and Coreopsis (gold color). I. dead’s headed, cut away dead and yellow leaves and placed them in a semi shaded area. I am happy to say they are all doing great. I will need to divide my Black eye Susan’s this coming fall.
The first Purple Cone Flower finally multiplying.
I am so not have any luck with hydrangeas, I paid regular price3-4 over the years but am ready to try again but will go to the discounted flowers to obtAin.
My neighbor have a hydrangea that wow me every time I visit so this year I am cutting a few pieces to root for my garden. They are variegated leaves and tiny blue blooms.. I have studied how to propagate successful.
Thank you for all you’ve shown. I am not driving any longer but when I get there as often as I can and now since watching your segment on rescuing stressed plants I am ready to save and rescue.

    Thanks again

Hi Moya, love your videos. I’m in zone 6b, my hydrangeas only bloomed one season and never bloom again. Their buds all died during winter.
Unfortunately I don’t know their variety. Would you please recommend some varieties of hydrangea that are hardy enough and bloom on both old and new stems ? Thank you.

I'm such a firm believer in Biotone! I dont know what they have in that stuff but it works WONDERS! & I will forever use it in my garden! Its expensive but so worth it! I think the combo you chose is going to be gorgeous!
