Awe Merry Christmas Huges family! It was so good seeing all the kids and how grown up they all have gotten! Thanks for sharing with us, all your treasured Christmas memories and traditions!

I didn’t bake this year, I did make ham, mashed potatoes, red chili, posole, tamales, and corn. It is all so yummy and the only time of year we eat ham, so I truly indulged, oh plus homemade tortillas. I also made rum balls, Jell-O shots, and you Irish wedding cookies which my family loved. Normally, I made 10 different cookies for Christmas but just didn’t have the time.

Merry Christmas!! I totally enjoyed your slice in life for this holiday.
We made duck, but I think it’s done, it’s on the dry side in my opinion. Hubs and kid says it’s fine… we do have lots of blood orange sauce to go with it.

The idea of freezing the pie filling into a pie plate and then wrapping it up for later is an amazing trick! I was able to quickly make an apple pie Christmas morning without exhausting myself! Thanks Kimmie!!!

Merry Christmas! Here in the Uk we had king prawn cocktail followed by traditional Christmas dinner with a fruit and cream pavlova instead of Christmas pudding. Then “picky” plates for evening meal.

Love seeing how your Christmas went! ♥️ We had smoked brisket and ham with cheesy potatoes, green bean cassarole, zucchini cassarole (tasted like stuffing) cheesy brusselsprouts and of course cookies and pies. Yum!

I did something similar for breakfast casserole (minus the veggies because kids) but this year I found a recipe that uses a package of croutons!! I like it because it's fairly shelf stable (i mean, honestly I do typically have bread, but still EASIER!) and usually 99c at my store! Just that, 2 c. milk, 8 eggs, s&p, 1# sausage, 1.5 c. cheese. I also tried the rhodes cinnamon rolls but the "anytime" and it was disappointing. 🙁

We really enjoy you and your family sharing your Christmas with us. First of all, I'd like to say thank you so much for your comments, waiting on Santa!! Our little is still a big Santa fan and was thankful and grateful the way you made sure that you said you were waiting on Santa's arrival. Lovely family and loved the cool things you all did together. Thanks so much.

Yes, my husband and I love green bean casserole! Unfortunately our daughters only like plain green beans… oh well, more for us! And we always save some extra fried onions to add that crispy texture to the leftovers. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family!

This time U made my side ahead of time during the Christmas week. I planned for an easy dinner so my back wouldn’t tighten up and give me trouble, but it did. Anyway I made Spiral ham, Mac n cheese, bushes baked beans, and potato salad. Oh and we purchased about 3 dozen pork chili tamales. It was all very good. I almost didn’t clean up the kitchen but I did. I wanted to lay down so bad because of my back getting so tight. But it was a great time with my daughter and her family, my brother and my parents.

Merry Christmas Hughes Family!! The Overstreet Family (which is us!) spent Christmas with my husband and I in quarantine with COVID. We got to watch our children (19 and 21) open their present on the back porch under a tree that "santa" put out so I could at least have the joy of seeing my babies open their gifts. Then we went back to our room and they went on their merry way. I want to be sad about it but I am blessed for the little things.

We just had 2 for Christmas and I was able to use freezer elements: The cornbread dressing and broccoli rice casserole. Yay! I made gravy and roasted chicken. I've just gotten into roasting chickens and believe this is something I want to do alot of in 2022. We have homemade cookie dough rolls in the freezer so we made fresh hot cookies for dessert. It was a very good day. Plus I got to take some food to a friend who couldn't come to the house because of an illness.
Thanks for sharing your life. I believe you must be related to wonder woman! All the things you accomplish. God Bless and Keep
