Mouth watering
You're brushing on the marinade that had raw pork in it. If you brush it on again after cooking it is where you can get sick.

NO KETCHUP!
English hot mustard: Colman’s!
Nobody has any video of pork loin in this style the stores call pork loin country style ribs. Then tho u used shoulder its the same thing but more lean. This recipe looks absolutely incredible! Im gonna do something different though. Im just kinda mad there isnt a single video im looking for so im just gonna have to wing it.
As a Chinese I approve this Char Siu. Also try to finely chop ginger and spring onion up, add some fine salt, pour in some hot oil and mix well to serve as a side sauce. Goes perfectly well with rice 😉
Is kozher salt necessary ?
Can I replace it by ordinary salt ?
My english is very poor you speak too quick I cannot
Understand what a pity. Your recepe looks Super
Thanks
Dip into a mixture of hot Chinese mustard and duck sauce then dip into sesame seeds.. I like mine to be served cold, or at least room temp.
Can we add some smoke to that grill? What wood would be best with this Chinese flavor?
Dude, tomatoes are a New World plant. Also, other types of ketchup were made, including one from green walnuts. So, can we just skip the gratuitous comment on where ketchup originated?
char as in burn and Siu rhymes with few but with a sibilant 's'…must admit we usually use pork belly but shoulder will be leaner 😂
…and a touch of Cayenne for good luck… got me without a doubt🤣
Love your recipes and the way you present them👍
Dude you crack me up
Good Lord is food coloring safe ? 😅😅
Hey, that doesn't look like honey.
Yes, skip the pink salt. It’s normally only used for meats that are smoked for hours (e.g., bacon).
Also, rather than re-using the marinade for basting, just reserve 1/2 cup of the sauce before marinading for basting. That avoids cross- contamination from the raw meat.
Isn’t pink salt sodium nitrate? That is very unhealthy product .
Phenomenal job Chef
This pork looks like something that the lemon-pepper potatoes would go well with!
ahaha ty for your chinese-style unauthentic Char Siu recipe yummo
