Iโve never made stock in the crockpot. Sounds easier. I keep a bag in the freezer and add bones and veggies and when the bag is full I make stock. I make what I label human stock and dog stock depending on spice. Everything goes together except for the seafood, shellfish mostly obviously. Iโm a big recycler, green bin too, itโs not popular around where I live now. I. Love reusing take out containers or yogurt containers, reduce, reuse, recycle, plus stock is fatty and is a pain to clean
Should I skim off the oil or not? I do it out of habit.
Iโm going to do this with every leftover rotisserie chicken from now on! Such a great idea, thank you!!
Thank you for the clarification….I didn't realize there was one needed between broth and stock. And I've been cooking over 40 years!
I also appreciate how you get right into the subject without rambling on endlessly with an opening. My time is valuable and you are a perfect youtuber!
I enjoy your videos and am always happy to see your smiling pretty face!…God bless you and your family…๐ป
My nonna ( italian for grandma) made us this growing up alllll the time. No waste in a Italian home, so it brought back many memories for me. I too make it especially for our cold Canadian winters. I love your channel.
Oi, Bionca Elreljn aka Rita Louise aka Pixi Stix aka You Mad aka Snow White aka UK DoctorFRCS, Sara didn't "delete me" luv, she would have to block me. I deleted my thread FIVE TIMES because you kept coming back to HARASS ME. I deleted my thread to take away your voice, because it gets your knickers in a twist. ๐
"All the goodness" thank you for the recipe. Love ya Sara๐ถ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโค
I also can bone broth. I add onion tops and skins and the bottom of celery bulb and a couple carrots to mine. I keep a ziplock bag in the freezer for my onion tops and celery bulbs so I always have them for broth. Yummy stuff for sure and healthy. Remember when the butcher would give you free beef bones for broth? Not anymore, over $2 a lb.
thank you for this information Sara. I just bought some beef bones for broth and thought i was going to have to slave all day over a hot stove!..
She fcukn barrs me up
