Jinne, that looks so good. Lol. I have 2 questions for you… one about this chowda lol 1. Does powdered milk curdle or break if it simmers too long? My second is about the break bleeder pressure sealing of dry goods… I just bought my hand held break bleeder and I am waiting for my set food saver jar sealing lids to get here… YAY. FINALLY! 2. Is the amount of pressure per jar the same for all sizes of (thick canning) jars and or does it also depend on your elevation like pressure canning wet non acid foods?? Thank you for any help you can give me. ๐Ÿ˜‹

I'm a corn chowda fan, from Maine where chowda is made with seafood. My only objection to this is the onions. They should be larger and not brown. Otherwise, it looks good. If you do canning, you might can some onion. I don't know if it would work but those onions look unappealing. It's worth a try.

That looks DELICIOUS Jinnie… Question I've heard that the non fat powdered milk is nasty…. Does it taste good in this chowda? I have some but haven't used it yet. I do use my Nido milk however for drinking.
