Hey y’all! This is for the ones who keep saying it’s bland:
Boil potatoes with a 1/3 of an onion, 1/2 stalk of celery, and a bay leaf. add broccoli. After boiling, drain and save any excess water for thinning. Discard bay leaf obviously. Blend. Add a hefty squirt of lemon juice, 1/2 tsp. Each of Mustard powder, smoked paprika, thyme, oregano, onion/garlic powder, and pink Himalayan salt.
Kicks it up a notch flavor wise. 😉

I just tried this recipe today (May 17, 2017). (He he I did have together an immersion blender.) Terrific. Delicious. I am just coming up on my 5 year anniversary of being vegan and I now see the wisdom of soups for healthy weight loss. More satiating< I think, than the steamed potatoes and broccoli would be by themselves.

I'm hoping by finding a bunch of good recipes I'll slip into veganism without it being like a crush diet change.

Since the attack my body has fluctuated 30lbs. I cannot fit into my clothes The third year anniversary I became vegan – I also don't sleep which really it's hard on the body
I've been home sick for about five days and all I had here was potatoes so I bake them and ate them and I've lost 8lbs. Still can't since my clothing but I'm pretty shocked so today will be the first to go out since I've been sick I'm gonna go get the broccoli, garlic powder, I think I have the rest. I gather I should steam the broccoli a little bit before adding to soup.
It's been I've four years I haven't been in and it just really has aged me 100 years gained so much weight I'm so excited to try the soup

I just made this and it's amazing! I was really skeptical that it wouldn't be creamy but holy shit it was amazing. I made it for a vegetarian and a carnivore and they both loved it.

I made this recipe two night ago and I have to say, I was disappointed. It was not very tasty.
I need a blender tool like that because mine did NOT go smoothly (aka i made a mess and it is not blended properly) Still good though!
I just made this and it was delicious! The cayenne was a surprising addition but it worked! I felt like it needed some acid, maybe lemon juice? But I didn't have any lemons. Maybe next time!
