I've done this with tuna quite often. I've added dill and cheese and topped with a dollop of mayo. I hadn't thought about salmon. 🤪It's so convenient for work lunches! 😋

I had a little mini dash, and I found it a pain to clean, especially when it occasionally overflowed. So I bought a full sized waffle maker with removable plates. This one didn't have an anti overflow channel, so it was also a pain to clean when it overflowed. Then I got one with the anti overflow channel, but I mistakenly thought it had removable plates, because I wasn't paying enough attention. I finally found one with BOTH the removable plates and the anti overflow channel, and I am happy with it. It can still overflow occasionally, but it isn't as hard to clean, even when it does. The brand is elechome.

I love CRISPY WAFFLES. I’m making these. I make salmon/sardines pattie’s about once a week. They are delicious. I think I’ll try the waffle & add sardines with the salmon. Even can chicken could be used. I made chicken nuggets the other day with can chicken, cheddar cheese, & egg. They were good. Can chicken has a strong smell to me so I have to rinse it off and drain it. Thanks for sharing. ❤️🕊️

I developed a new carnivore waffle this week and they are terrific. I would so eat SARDINE and salmon waffles. Can't wait to make these. Thanks again for doing these varieties and being always creative❤ I used my big waffle iron. Those little chaffle minidash waffle makers are annoying.

Yum! I hadn't thought about using my salmon patty mixture and cooking it in the Dash waffle maker, but that is a good idea for crispy little waffles. I grew up with my mother making salmon waffles on a regular occasion and she would use the canned salmon that was in the store. I am also going to try the gelatin as another stabilizer as saltines are not on the menu anymore.
