Today is day 19 of the #everybitcountschallenge and today I’m canning up a batch of white bean and potato soup! We had some …
I did this recipe after watching your video. Yummy! I added a little spinach and some slightly cooked chicken sausage. I also added chicken broth on top of jars. Thx for a great video
I'm going to can this tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe.
Hi! 30 acres?! Iβm so excited for you!!!! Thanks for sharing this recipe! Looks yummy Iβm so trying it!
I put a towel over when I release… I learned the first time when it shot up and stained my ceiling… π€·π»ββοΈπ€£
Experiment with me π
I hear Constance! Was that the pizza pasta?
I liked the assembly of the jars, pretty pleasing. I like the experiment with the soup. Experiments make the best dishes π
Do you leave the skins on the potatoes π₯ π€? Looks delicious π!
I really enjoyed how you presented/edited the filling of the jars at around the 6:15 mark. Your music selection was perfect. The entire thing was so very creative!
Thanks for sharing. I am going to make this!
Finally, another cook that adds bell pepper to her potato soup! It is DELICIOUS, and I heartily recommend it.
This looks like a delicious, hearty soup! Yum!! I've been meaning to ask, where did you get your red and white canning funnel?
Anna, if I don't soak beans overnite and I use the Qwik soak method, can your recipe be used for this delish sounding soup? Yes, I wanna learn how to make different things, too!
Love your videos.
Yup, Phytatic acid, lectins, and enzyme inhibitors in legumes. I like the term, "fart juice" though. That was hilarious.
Definitely going to have to try that soup. I think my fam will love that. Might even hit it with a splash of heavy whipping cream at the end?
Can you post the ingredient list in the comments? Thanks.
That looks delicious dear. Going to try this one soon. Much love
Great recipe
Hello Anna! I just love how good you are doing on your challenge! You are such an inspiration!!
That soup looked delicious!!
That looks like a recipe that a friend's mom made a million years ago when I was in high-schools
Thanks for the information about the vinegar. I have beans to can and I'm going to try that.
That looks delicious!!! β€οΈπ₯°
Your soup looks delicious π
I love watching you because you are so real….so you!! π π God's blessings always.
Soaking them decreasing the saccharides in beans. That is a sugar and is indigestible by people. It is the thing in beans that make us toot. Just soaking them 8-12 hours and rinsing them every 3 can dramatically reduce the sugar starch. Iβve only heard that baking soda helps to reduce these sugars as well during the soak.
Ooh! I must make this recipe. Thanks!!
I think it is fartic acid…lol
I've always heard to add baking soda to soak the beans in. So if the vinegar doesn't work, may want to try that. I have never done it, so I am no expert on this either.
ginger is an under used spice in most americans kitchens
Dang it, now I've gotta break out the Instant Pot. Thanks for doing the testing for us so we can get it righter sooner (like that'll ever happenπ) And I've been meaning to tell you thanks for the vinegar soaking info, now maybe I'll remember to put the vinegar in. Blessings from Indy πππ
Great video β€οΈ Blessings π
