I was just going to mention that I learned to put the ground meat in the crockpot on high for 3 hours & stir it occasionally. That is how I cook mine to can & works really well.

When you have frozen food in a cardboard box it takes longer to defrost as it works as insolation.

I precook hamburger and freeze it. When we want taco meat, I put a small amount of water in a skillet and add taco seasoning, Then the cooked meat, Let it simmer while I cut the lettuce and tomato.
If you spray the measuring cup the discard will slide right out!

We are back to cold weather low thirties. Put your beef in cold water to thaw . Or put in the pot with a little water and put a lid on it to thaw out. I grabbed taco meat by mistake one time for spaghetti and it was delicious! We call it taco spaghetti 🍝. We love ground beef on pizza 🍕and taco meat . Hope you all feel better! Thank you ! 🌮🫙🌮

If you want something to thaw faster, take it out of the box. The cardboard is a great insulator and will keep it cooler longer. You continue to amaze me with all you are able to do! Praying for good health for all of you!
