Good choice of beer
Bratwurst burgers with beer cheese?!?! You guys are killing it! When I saw y’all eyes roll back after tasting the beer cheese I knew it must be good. I’ll be making some this weekend. Keep up the great work!👍🏾
Oh wow! Snausage, cheese (sauce) mustard, pretzel roll, onions & peppers, that's just a mouthful! It's a must-try for sure!
So, would smoking brisket trimmings over a baking sheet or cake pan render smoked tallow? Gotta do something with the trimmed fat cuz I hate to waste it and I don't grind burger, yet!
Thanks Neal & Amy! BTW, double dipping only counts if ya get caught, and I didn't see anything!
I would smash those😮💨😮💨. Great idea and that beer cheese!!
Neal, you have a smoker, you smoke briskets, you can make your own tallow. Just save all the fat you trim off your brisket and put them in a cast iron skillet and put them on your griddle or even your gas grill, I use a n induction burner to make mine. Render it all down and pour it into a mason jar. Use a coffe filter over the jar to filter the tallow as it goes into the jar. I keep it in my outdoor fridge and use for cooking all the time.
Looks great. GBO
Dammit man, those look amazing! Keep it up.
Isn’t it funny, everyone is an expert. They should get their own YouTube channel. “You do you”, love that quote.
Have to be honest, one of my favorite parts of your vids is the taste testing and all the noises that come with it…
In the process of moving from Savannah back to hometown in Indy. This will be one of the first things I try as soon as we unpack. Thanks Neil..
If this recipe was posted on khal, many more people would be able to enjoy it. It is definitely something that should be added there….
I love the idea of the beer cheese sauce. Going to have to use that one. In a related note, I made some of your smash burgers with onions in them the other day, and use the leftover smoked queso dip as the cheese. Oh baby. You can eat that stuff on a flip-flop.
I was saying to myself that pretzel bun toasted dipped in the cheese sauce would be a good appetizer
“Gonna be pulling that tire a little extra”, Amy, that was hilarious, along with all the umms! Great episode.
Great vid guys! my fam is a huge slider fan and this is definitely getting cooked this weekend for gameday.. that cheese sauce looked like it made all the difference.. thanks for sharing 👍 (oh, and anything in beer, HELL YEAH !)
A smoked poblano jumped in my head when you said poblano.
Fantastic sliders! That cheese sauce looks outstanding👍😊
Fantastic job on those sandwiches! The cheese sauce is a must make this week Neal! Thanks for all the awesome cooks! Cheers brother 🍻
Dadgum Boss!! Just when we think you can't top yourself, you go and do these.
Where do I find this awesome recipe?
you all kill me with your food…thanks gr8 as always
Man Neal, Wow! Your cooking is masterful. You need to change the name to Master Flat Top King!
Looks amazing Neil and Amy! I would have never thought to use the meat from a brat to make a burger patty. That cheese sauce looks amazing, and I can smell a future appetizer of some soft pretzel bites, that amazing beer cheese, candied bacon and crispy jalapenos! As always, great content and always thinking outside the box.
“I’m a half a beer in!” I’m guessing about 2 or 3 of those pretzel buns dipped into that beer cheese sauce too! Haha! That’s an outstanding brat slider recipe Neal! That smoked beef tallow sounds delicious to cook with. I’m digging that hat too…it’s the one I bought! Cheers brother!
I'm so glad I'm not skinny. How ever I'm glad I still have some vacation time. I will be making this one 😂
i am from wisconsin, where's the sauerkraut?
I am thinking I might just make that beer cheese and get some pretzels and I be good, lol. I don’t eat much, me too old.
Great idea! Watching you eat that made me think that combination as a mini kabob to dip into a cup of that cheese sauce. Next time I get brats I gotta make that. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome idea and with that beer cheese…you killed it as always!
My mouth is watering!!!
Another good video guys THANK you for that ,,,,, friend went back to NY. Now I get to sit on the couch and watch you tube again. THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA…..
I smoke a lot of brisket and use all the trimmings for my own smoked tallow. It is really good stuff!
Super recipe. Glad you headed back to a griddle focus, had never thought about taking the brats into a patty, great idea and super for the griddle. Creating the sauce adds a greater level of flavor for sure, thanks for the ideas.
Great results there all around!
Scrumpdillyicious Neil and Amy ! Those sliders looked awesome and you didn't make any mistakes , you just shared that you can change some things around for those who prefer certain cheeses and vegetables. Like the old cook said "not too high or not too low YOU KNOW JUST RIGHT" !! Thanks for sharing these with us, stay safe and keep up the fun around there. Fred.
Those of us on the west coast are crying about the yueling.
I would love and hate you guys as my neighbors. Lol. I would always want to eat your food and hate you cause it smells so damn good 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Another killer video
I’ll take 3 and a beer! Loved it
Oh boy!! Brats for me.👍👍
Bringing out the German routes. OMG. I love this idea. Make some pierogi to pair. ❤
Man! That looks good. I just bought brats. The only thing I have lacking is the pretzel buns. Quick trip to the store in the morning. Then GO TITANS!
Pretzel bun, brat, beer cheese dip and the veg – that hits all the sweet spots. And for the record, I have never tried ANYTHING that includes poblano peppers that wasn't amazing. Great job
Bratwurst burgers on pretzel buns with beer cheese, are you kidding me! As a German-American, this is quite possibly the best idea for a burger that I have ever seen. They looked absolutely incredible! I'm definitely making these! Thank you Neil and Amy.
You are soooo talking my language with this one dude!!! I live and die for brats especially during the fall and football season, and that beer cheese tho??!! Love that mustard too!! Both of 'em, touchdown!!!
Yummy sounding snacks………or meal, if you eat enough.
I was hoping you'd give a call out to the mustard, the name makes it sound interesting. I like to slip some dijon into mushroom gravy for an added "what's that?" flavor note, and thought the beer mustard might work also.
Yaay !! Something besides a smashburger !! Those look scrumptious !!
So glad we found you on YouTube. Love your vids. Makes me excited to cook on our Blackstone! Keep it coming!❤
You guys have convinced me I need to make some beer cheese! What a great video. I never realized King's made so many variations of their slider buns. I need to go yell at my Safeway people.
Mmmmmmm, Wow, those hatch chili brats looked awesome i will have to look for those and give that recipe a try. Thanks for this recipe. Stay safe in TN. We love you two here in Preskitt, AZ.
