It’s Not the Mayonnaise….A lot of people think that when they get sick at a picnic, that it's the mayonnaise in the (list your favorite here) salad that makes them sick when it's really the potatoes/fruits and other ingredients that are most likely at fault.. Please read "It’s Not the Mayonnaise: Food Safety Myths & Summertime Food". by North Carolina State University News… @5:39 made me laugh.. Thank You…

My mother's sister, aged 5, died of botulism from eating home canned tomatoes. As a nurse, I have seen many cases of food poisoning. The worst was more than 50 people after eating contaminated chicken at a family reunion, We treated 23 in emergency room and admitted about half of them into the hospital. Be smart, be safe. Please don't risk your family's health.

Thanks for all the info! My husband got food poisoning from Applebee’s a month or so ago and he refuses to eat Applebee’s again. We hadn’t eaten there but 2-3 times in the past 6 month after having not eaten there in 15+ years (we like Chili’s better lol). Now it’s a no-go lol.

My son was a victim of e coli when he was 5. Poor little guy really sufferred and it set him on a very nervous food path in his life. He got it at a restaurant. Now, 30 years later hes still very thin. But has an enormous healthy appetite. He was hospitalized and even mentioned on the news, as there were several victims that were affected.

I’m one of those who is a little leery of dented cans, I’ll only use them if they have very small shallow dents, could you do an in depth video on which dents are “safe” and I never use a food thermometer 😬

Thanks for the great info. I wish more YouTubers would take the time to explain this instead of scaring people into not preserving their own food or using food beyond the best by date. Processed foods can be just if not more dangerous for you.

My daughter’s boyfriend got food poisoning from mac & cheese now he won’t eat it anymore. My daughter & I got it from a “Church’s chicken” restaurant that her aunt brought for us. We won’t eat there anymore. Thank you for giving us this important information, it’s definitely a must know. I hope you feel better soon, since you said you’re not feeling that well. Blessings.

I got bad food poisoning back in September. Ended up in the hospital for a couple days. I got mine from eating bad raw onions. It was my own stupidity. I had cut up an onion and had it in my fridge. I knew it was a funny color when I used it in my curry. It was like a grayish blue color. But it smelled and tasted fine. I figured it had gotten discolored from the sourcream container. I'd used to store it. I always considered myself as having a iron stomach and could eat pretty much anything. I'm so much more aware of what I eat now. I never want to be sick like that again.
