Came back to this channel after about 1 year. Even though the cooking has improved even further, you do appear to have gained some weight along the way!

You read my mind! Lol…love the added coriander too…I know some people will say Chinese bao buns use green onions but Vietnamese version uses Coriander. I made the same but with Roast Pork left over from Christmas dinner. Your recipe is awesome! Always appreciate your take on our authentic cuisine! Happy holiday! ❤️🥰

Donal, happy holidays! Although I like your cooking ideas most of the time, this is not one of them. No matter how moist it was, recooked turkey breast meat tends to be dry and stringy. I would rather have duck with bao, and keep the leftover turkey breast for sandwiches.

That Maillard reaction will give crunchy bits on that turkey and nice dark color. Love that pan.

the acid you chose rice vinegar to balance the dish after you added the honey- less harsh than regular vinegar. Very smart.

I’m going to have to look for bao buns to make this- I’m not sure if I’ll be able to find them in my market.

I like the softness of the buns with the crunchy contrast you picked of the julienne carrots and the colors are fantastic of the final dish.
Great idea 💡 for left overs versus just making a sandwich or a casserole. Nice! Happy 2020!
