Great review! How much does that MRE box actually weigh? All those tins seem pretty big and heavy. Also I guess not freeze dried meals which probably helps flavor wise compared to the freeze dried stuff. An MRE, in a bag, containing freeze dried meals must be a lot lighter and a lot more space effective? Perhaps not as tasty though.
It’s just as well French military rations review so well as their military history less so. Crecy, Agincourt, Moscow, Waterloo, Trafalgar, WW2 Mediterranean fleet, Maginot line, Bien Dien Phu, the comment space is too small to list them all. It makes you wonder where their arrogance comes from.
Lack of cutlery is not a problem as most Frenchmen will have cutlery, a tablecloth, a napkin, a bottle of wine and a baguette just as a matter of course.
Damn, did not know that the Frogs made great MRE, cool!
The French puts more Effort in food than training. They pamper their soldiers so much thats why they lost in both world wars.

For having used thes MRE quite often, you don't actually stir the meals as they heat up. Do not remove the lid completly, and It's ready when it boils 😉 Oh and The tea is thé à la menthe, mint tea!
