Looks GREAT just as you've prepared it. I like to try a recipe just as provided the first time I make it, then alter for taste/texture the next time… if needed. The problem (some) people (I know) have is altering the recipe first so you then get the "mine doesn't look/taste the same as yours" comments or feedback. DON'T alter the original recipe the first time you try it because it won't be the same. Obviously modify for any allergies to ingredient(s). That being said, and as you mentioned options, I think this would be good with Bleu Cheese crumbles running through it or sprinkled on top. I like to eat buffalo chicken dip with giant Fritos, but baguettes would be good, too. That's what I'm doing next time I make it.

My local diner introduced me to Cholula hot sauce, and I love it. It's a "smoother" heat than Tabasco, and has more verve than Franks, in my opinion. This looks extremely good, almost like Stroganoff topping.
