I'd have done a 'slow' pressure release and after the time was up, left the unit off and let the pressure release naturally for about 30 minutes (extra cooking time) before releasing the excess pressure and opening the unit. red meats can often 'seize' if the pressure is released too quickly because moisture pulled from the meat and can go tough, pressure cooking was a massive learning curve for me. Its not an easy method to master but you did a good hob Gareth!! โบ
Looked delicious Must admit Iโd be disappointed if I put a slab of meat in the pressure cooker and then opened it up and all that was left was a fish finger sized piece of beef ๐คฃ
Every day I cook meat in my pressure cooker as it is easy and comes out delicious. I usually cook oyster blade or intercostals for approx 30 mins. with about 1 cup water/stock and salt.
I have had an air fryer for a while now but its no where near as good as yours, can you tell me what model it is plz? as there are a few Ninja ones and they look similar.
You put yourself through the paces and you got there. Any one watching you have a fair timing prediction of how long that beef joint took to cook . Looked really tender when it was done well done you .๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐คฉ๐คฉ
For-blimey looks fantastic Gareth. You are slowly but surely converting to buy an air-fryer. Looking into the black Friday sale deals going for one. It must defiantly help break even and save energy costs. Keep up with the super videos.
If you have any leftover redwine, put it into ice cube trays and pop out a couple when youโre cooking stuff like this – it will taste amazing in the sauce
Looked up prices of Ninja's cooker and I might have to go for a cheaper one (Crockpot is a good make generally and much cheaper). My daughter might splash out for me for Christmas. Your videos make me want to buy stuff as you have a way of presenting quite differently than anyone else – more genuinely. Like others have said, you need to get sponsorship. Good luck.
Great first attempt Gaz Brisket is about 2 hours til tender and all day in a slow cooker. How about pulled Pork next with spicy sauce. A favourite in our house?
I can almost smell that! ๐ Definitely needs dumplings… So quick and easy to make I've only ever slow-cooked brisket. A friend of mine reckoned 'skirt' was a good, tasty cheap cut of beef if you fancy trying something different.
I need to invest in one of these. What's the price range?
Got an aluminium pressure cooker that's as old as the hills, I do brisket in it a few times a year, Very difficult to over cook in one of these.
Yummy
Are you putting the beef on?
I bet can make a tasty stew in that ninja looks of it Crispy top dumplings maybe try one day for me would be great to see if Iโm right ๐xx
why did u use pressure cooker? u should of roasted it in the fryer? as u said its trail and error atm
That looked so good mate, will be off to Iceland tomorrow๐๐๐
Brisket cooked properly can be the best tasting beef.
Hi Iโm really enjoying watching your Vlogs but what model is your ninja please would love one myself๐
What size litres ninja have you got ? Cheers sorry if you've mentioned it before

Brisket cooked on a bed of carrots and onions makes amazing gravy. I once cooked it or my cousin and he asked me to teach his wife how to cook lol .
I bet that tastes as good as it looks. Yummy yunmy yum ๐ค
So what do you think? Should I get a ninja?
I remember the old scary pressure cookers with the weights. Definitely an improvement ๐
