That is a lot of smoke coming from your chimney. Back in the late 90's or thereabouts this city had a big problem with smog. I guess its not such a big deal for you because I get the impression you are out in the countryside. Anyway this new woodburner I got had to be an ultra low emission model. Anyway I am really envious of all the firewood you have but luckily I got the whole shed full of good dry stuff at a not too bad price. My next big ticket thing is to get a dishwasher and its not as straightforward as it sounds because I have to get one that is a slimline model and needless to say getting one a standard size is a much better deal but I simply can't make it fit and look alright in the existing cabinets. I also have to buy a new countertop detatch the cabinet from the wall and move it forward so the new one will fit snugly. I sure hope I don't stuff it up.

That stew looked delicious !!! Thanks for sharing the recipe, I'm definitely going to try it.
I think the price of electricity here in Spain is even higher than France so we have to be very careful.
I dug out my old pressure cooker and have started to cook things in bulk and freeze it in smaller portions – I hope that way we use less electricity 🤞

hello! I would like to ask you about what you think about a slow cooker, I am thinking to buy one but it depends of electric consumption if it is high or not. sorry I know it's not a subject related with your video that by the way is very good.

I have had an Instant Pot for two years and it is still in the box (I know, I know), but I am going to inaugurate it with your recipe this week! This may change up my cooking completely, although I do love my cast iron pots and pans.

I do not have an Instant Pot yet. I am yet to be convinced it will save me time, and I confess to being a bit intimidated by the functions. I do, however, have 3 different sized slow cookers which I use regularly, and also try to cook as many things as I can on my (propane) stove top. We are planning a move soon, and I intend to get a toaster oven for the new house to limit oven use.

LOOKS SO YUMMIE! I just have a crock pot, this instant pot looks fantastic! I also use a small toaster oven that has convection bake setting, it’s wonderful from toast to baking it can do it all, and heats up so quickly. Love your videos, they are such a joy. Thank U Both

Lovely recipe Jane I could smell it as you were cooking it oh my can't wait to have a go .Yes I do have an instant pot. I also love using it. I haven't worked out if it's cheaper than my cooker yet. I have a dual fuel oven electric and gas hob . Maybe I need to time and check units etc.

Hey Jane, seems like a very clever and delicious way of making "Beef Bourguignon"! I don´t have an instant pot, but now I´m thinking about getting one, although it could be probably done in an oven as well…

Made me feel hungry Jane! I use my Ninja Foodi every day, very similar to Instant Pot. The best gadget we have bought in 40 years together, no exaggeration! I have given one to my son for Christmas – in use already. Thanks for doing what you do! Happy Christmas to you both!
