I love you all so much!!!! Happy Monday, ❤ I’m a Mexican who LOVES El Salvador and of course their delicious pupusas, I by no means trying to offend anyone by recreating a recipe out of my culture, this is a recipe I learned back in the day from my Salvadorian friend and has forever been a staple in my house 😊 so big shout out to her.

Better not see no fucken salvadorans here talking shit cause a Mexican is making pupusas. Y'all buy our beer, our marinated meats from the Mexican carnecerias, copy our antojitos and make our shit all the time so por favor cut that shit out. 😂

7:25 Wow 🤩 Claudia I was impressed by your pupusa recipe And I love pupusas but the chicharrón with cheese are my favorites and here in DFW is hard to find a place with a decent pupusa but Houston tx is the place where we go crazy over pupusas in restaurants and we found this lady from “El Salvador “ and she makes pupusas for a living every weekend and let me tell you that she knows how to make pupusas so delicious that she is famous for her way she makes it besides she is so nice and humble and she takes pride in what she cooks 😊I thank you for sharing your recipe with us I will let my wife to take a challenge with the pupusas cause she can make homemade tortillas by hand if you know what I mean lol 😝 lol Gracias!! Saludos!!!😊

Am salvadorean cabbage don't need to be cook but hot water in a bowl with a little be of vinegar (we use pineapple vinegar ) and salt submerge cabbage only for 3 minutes drain put cabbage in another bowl add onions, carrots, oregano and a little be of black pepper whatever else you like because cabbage is hot it will cook onion and carrots and the other ingredients and cover the curtido do the steam will continue cooking the cabbage is a lot difference how we Salvadorean make the salsa and the rest at the end I like to see in the video when who ever cook open a pupusa to see if the filling is spread to the edges in the pupusa and you didn't Salvadorean videos they do because is a big deal for us if the filling is spread inside because if they do that's mean the pupusa taste good if the filling is not spread to the edges that's mean they don't taste good but at least you have the idea and you explain ok 🇸🇻🇺🇸

Oh my tummy is growling for some pupusas. I have everything I need to make the curtido. I'll have to find some maseca flour and Oaxaca cheese, which has jumped in price to a level i can't believe here in NYC 😢
