I love to make one dish meals and this black-eye peas one surely fits the bill. It looks amazing and I will be making it soon. The shamrock pie also looks delicious! Marie, I agree with you. I would eat this pie anytime of the year. Just change its name to mint pie or spring pie or whatever fits the occasion. Thanks for these easy and delicious meals!

Hi Calvin and Marie 🙋‍♀️!! The pie looks so good!! I'm going to keep this recipe in mind and may do for Easter, perhaps use pink food coloring since it is an easy peasy dessert recipe to have on hand!! Also YUM 😋 on the black eyed peas!! I had not ever had them until I moved down South and they were so so good I loved them!! I've moved back up North and have not had a good batch of black eyed peas since so again going to keep this in mind and perhaps try!! You think a Non-Southern gal can make it as good and yummy as you all have??!! 🤭 Any rate, thanks for sharing and do love how you both are "tag teaming" it in the kitchen these days!! Have a wonderful weekend!! Take care and God Bless!!!

It all looked so delicious, now with food prices so high, a big pot of beans with rice, and a peace of pie to finish a great meal, who could ask for anything more!👍❤️

Hi guys! Don't know why, but I just got this video today – Friday – and it sounds like you posted it on Wednesday, the day BEFORE St. Patrick's Day. No problem, I can make that festive, gorgeous green pie next March 17th! Being more Irish than not, I love, love, love St. Patty's Day! 🍀 🍀 🍀

I have so enjoyed catching up with your channel these past few days! It's been fun seeing how you have expanded with the vlogging which is SO enjoyable to watch. You seem to do it effortlessly — it's such a smooth ride – haha! 😄 It's marvelous too seeing how you're cooking together oftentimes — you compliment each other so well and it really sets your channel apart from all the others – very unique you are! As I've said before, Calvin, women everywhere love seeing a man in the kitchen!❤!❤!

Marie, I hope you received a little Fed Ex surprise yesterday! And, as it turns out, you can say my name AND I can comment. Seems I just didn't understand the instructions — I am so NOT tech savvy! Sorry for the drama, but if you only knew how dramatic my life has been for the past several months, you'd understand.

I ❤ all the special recipes you've shared and cannot wait to try many, many of them! Take care! ❤ 😍 ❤
